“Top shop if your a gang member but solo is a bit pricey.. was mooching this place for months, jean filled ever day with different scran no one cared. Until i was pinned in the fridge isle for picking up some tip tops. (Was paying for them btw) the way staff swarmed on me was outrageous and intimidating. Questioning me about disability’s with my legs, because they seemed swollen. I stated there was nothing wrong with my legs which led to one staff member ripping my jeans clean off and 14 shepherds pies spilling out, the only explanation is my disabled son who love sneaking frozen foods into places they shouldn’t be, which made me seem i was on rob. Understandable really. But ill do time for my lot, i ainta grass. It definitely was him but i aint saying nothing. Dont shop here complete stitch up, all 13 of my kids are now in care,”

“Today I visited the store to exchange some empty beer kegs (for the first time), and replace with fresh new ones. I asked at the counter and was directed to a young man called Dhillion. I haven’t exchanged Draft Beer kegs before so was completely unsure of the process. This young man assisted me with his professionalism and knowledge of how this was done. Even helped down load an app with which you can claim points which lead to discounts. I changed my mind on one of the brand of kegs yet it was no problem for this lad to go a pick up one that I’d wanted instead. Thoroughly pleased with the service and attention I received and would not hesitate in recommending this establishment to anyone in future.”

“Staff are happy to help and always cheerful when at the kiosks ,the new lay out is brilliant though . Update ,there is a self service part now ,so when you only go in for a few items it's easier and quicker , could this shop get any better ?”

“Aldi supermarkets are always excellent, always customer-orientated. The staff are always helpful and prices at Aldi are excellent, a serious challenge to other supermarkets.”

“Supermarket with a good range of own brands at lower prices. Special offers on household goods as well. Parking outside, all on ground level but it does get crowded at peak times.”

“Not bad one of the staff on tills lacks manners and can come across arrogant. you definitely know who that is if you've been in , but ok for a quick shop for some goodies.”

“Good cheap supermarket! It has most things I buy but notably lacks any brand name cereal so I get that at the Morrisons.
It's got a good amount of vegetarian and vegan food.
I recommend their jars of sauce - really good value.
Staff are nice, too.

“Great discount , lovely staff , parking can be difficult , need a pound for trolley baskets available best to avoid around 2 till 5 30 ish, stock day is usually mid week late morning.”

“The shop is a little bit smaller than its wide range of goods would require, but cosy and well-organized place offering great discounts on household products, baby care, lady's/gent's toiletries, beverages and snacks. It's well worth stopping by and choosing from its selections at the Lower Presinct's entry side od Coventry Market. Pls, still ware your mask when entering - it's still requested - and take good care!♡”

“It's nearby to the bus station, town shops, and restaurants. They have fresh produce, friendly staff, lots of different food items, as well as special offers.”

“I work at the cosy club down the way from this spar and I go in regularly and get along so well with all staff. However last night I bought a brownie and noticed a whole in the bottom of the bag, I was really looking forward to the brownie and thought it was lost forever until today. My lovely manager went into spar this evening and the lovely gentleman on the cashier ( who I always have a good chat with) saved my brownie since I left it at the store and asked if she could return it to me, and she did! Although this might not seem like a lot but this shows how lovely, compassionate and caring all the staff at spar Coventry are. Big shout out to you guys will always be my favourite store! Xx”

“Thank goodness for the Post Office which has replaced a nearby one which shut down.Not a usual user of the shop but had to return a parcel so had a good mooch around and ended up spending quite a bit of money lol which shows they have some good and different products. Will certainly be paying them a visit again? (parcel or no parcel)”

Efficient staff that drop on tills when in busier moments using their intelligence unlike some other shops,staff smile and interact with customers, unlike some other shops. Thought shopping at Sainsbury's is deemed to be for Porsche clients and those making 6 figures n above!, I am neither of them but I know they also have deals for me!.?. Tip. prior to making purchases I do online price checks for the items I wish to buy. Note there is always a good deal somewhere! you just have to search?. I saved £15 + just by surfing online prices on items in different shops. Try it out prior to your next purchase ? Then thank me later. £15+ saving on a possible £160 expense! ?@ Sainsbury's nothing gets better than that to?.”

“I visit this store often, but on this particular occasion I was blown away by the service from a guy called Paul (I think).

I was stood looking for a drink and after a bit of light hearted banter, he asked me what I was looking for. As what I wanted wasn't on the shelf, he radio'd through to one of his colleagues and within a minute, they had been into the store room and had fetched what I wanted.

“As far as services go, this was pretty good!Plenty of choice of food, they had you covered whatever you fancied.Also the toilets were super clean and rather posh, which is always a massive plus.Worth a stop if your passing!”

“10 stars if I could, not only for the way the shop is kept but mainly for the lovely man who is often there most mornings (may be manager? But unsure). I don’t go in every day but on the days I do, he is so pleasant and greets me as soon as I walk in, very cheerful ‘good morning’, and I’ve seen him to it to everyone that comes in every time. He is a true asset to the team and it really does make a difference to your day, deserves all the credit .”
