You can tell the quality of a supplier/shop not by when everything goes right (although we always want that), but when things go wrong.I recently bought a Project E1 BT turntable - all the big names were out of stock and Frank Harvey's had one left. Not used them before, but ordered and paid for next day delivery - next day it arrived. Brilliant!Upon opening and unpacking it, I found that the shaft has snapped, just where the counter balance was. The box had arrived sealed and in good condition, so was gutted to see this.Called FH and spoken to Mark, they didn't have any more in stock so he needed to talk to the supplier - after then weekend :(First thing Monday, had a call from Mark - supplier had stock and replacement ordered. Wednesday the return was picked up and today the replacement has arrived. Perfect.The E1 is now all set up and hooked up to the Bluetooth, and I know that is counter getting a turntable in the first place, but my other half has all the 45's that her grandparents used to buy. They would take it in turns, save up and get a new one each weekend between them.We've invited her parents over and unknown to them we'll now be able to play the records that they used to hear when growing up again - sometimes it's not about the quality, but the memories.Huge thank you to Mark who sorted this out so promptly - excellent service.Mike

Very speedy delivery of my mission lx4 MK2 floor standing speakers and packaged amazingly well to the point I'm sure they could've delivered them out of an airplane at 30,000 feet and they'd be totally fine ? I now have a life time supply of bubble wrap as an added bonus lol?? Very happy with the speakers, amazing sound quality for the price, paired with a Denon amp and Denon bookshelfs. I'll be purchasing the bookshelf lx2 MK2 from HiFix v soon to replace the Denons. They'll compliment the lx4's nicely ?? thanks again HiFix.

Excellent service I ordered my Ortofon stylus to be delivered standard mail and it was delivered the next day...during Christmas!Would recommend.

Visited the shop today last time was 2 1/2 years ago said what I had bought previously and what I wanted to buy to add to what I already have and the manager instantly remembered me buying it and who sold it me all that time ago !! Had a chat showed me a few things gave me some excellent advise which actually saved me money made my purchase and left in less than 20 minutes very impressed with the knowledge and advise won?t shop anywhere elseThis place isn?t about making money it?s about building relationships first

Used Hifix for the first time to order a Rega Carbon stylus. Having been fed up by all the dubious fakes on the normal websites it was refreshing to find a cost effective genuine replacement online via them. Stylus received within 2 working days. Carefully wrapped and a define genuine product. Would definitely use them again for sure.

FRAUDS. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I'm just one of many people that have been conned by this company recently, see for yourself by looking at the reviews.Bought and paid for a Kef Subwoofer, £800. They told me it was delivered and sent me a picture of a cardboard box in a random stairway. Shock, the box was not there. It wasn't even delivered to the right lobby, let alone my office.I have tried to resolve with them amicably and even contacted Frank Harvey directly (I assume he is the poor excuse of a Director as he has the same name as the holding company of HiFix). It is now 8 weeks later and they have refused to either send me the product which I have paid for in full, or refund me in full.Couple of facts.. The £800 item was not signed for.... The customer service is appalling, they took my money on the 31st May! The told me to go the police and get a crime ref number, I did that and then was told that they "couldn't help".Literally, this is worst company I have ever dealt with and I will contacting everybody that I can to get them shut down. I will start with open a new case with the police, and have them investigated for Fraud. I will contact Companies House as they also have a Fraud department which will want to hear about this. I will contact Opayo, formerly Sage Pay, who is their payment provider, as once again they have a fraud department. And of course Lloyds Bank! As well making sure that local news outlets are aware in Coventry.I will doing all of the above with any company that Frank Harvey has an involvement with and I urge everybody to do the same. Just look at all the terrible reviews for these cowboys!! I wish I had seen them before I bought from them.At this point, I don't care about the £800. I just want to save other people from having the same experience that I have.

Beware! This shop and the owner Frank Harvey are frauds. They will overcharge you and you will never get your products. If you visit this shop, you're likely to be paying exorbitant prices for defective equipment. They also seem to sell refurbished items as new. If you buy something here, it may not work well when it arrives. Deal with this business at your own risk.

Attitude of who ever it is that answers the phone stinks. I ordered some computer speakers and have been waiting 2 months for them to arrive.When making the purchase I assumed they were in stock but later found out I needed to wait 2 months for the supplier to help. Person I spoke to on the phone wasn?t particularly helpful.I rang again 2 months later for an update, they wouldn?t look up my order and just said I should wait for whatever I was told to carry on waiting. Sense I got was that they didn?t care and don?t want to help?

The company does not honour its return policy.I have received a defective product and in spite of their "no fuss" return policy, I can't get them to provide me with a return label - just and endless list of questions while ignoring my request to return the item.As an engineer, my time costs. I do not troubleshoot their products for free.I'm still trying to get a return label and I'd strongly avoid this company. High fidelity gear is expensive and other companies provide a much better service.I'll keep the review up to date but the next step is escalating via legal means for violating the published return policy.

Fantastic experience. Very knowledgeable people. I bought a complete system with Kef Q950. Q650C, Q350, Q50atmos and svs sub, denon x4700h and marantz 7055. Dealt with Blake who gave me some very good advice. Overall very satisfied. I recommend 100%. All was done by phone as i live very far away and the entire equipment was packed very nicely for a long journey.

I purchased a Yamaha 109 YAS soundbar from this company. I opted for click and collect as we needed it ASAP. I collected from Coventry which was over 40 miles away. I paid cash because cash is king whilst it is still with us. I got home and tried setting up the soundbar and this was impossible because no power was going into the soundbar. Obviously a faulty soundbar. A £180 soundbar that didn't work was of no use to me. I contacted Mark at Frank Harvey who said he'd arrange a collection and full refund. This was on the 3rd February 2023. I was told I'd receive a refund but nothing as of yet. I have called up numerous times and have sent numerous emails to no avail. The customer service from this company is absolutely appalling. I do NOT recommend purchasing from this company. My solicitor will now be dealing with this company. A notice of liability has also been served.

Wow if you like music and have the money come here and drool over the most amazing selection of electronics you?ll ever see in one shop, we?ll set out and most of all had the item I needed.Never hassled and was left to look around which was nice.

Terrific experience purchasing a Krell K-300i. Phil, the shop owner went out of his way to help me with an arrangement to pay as I was short of funds. Phil and another colleague I spoke to were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and courteous too. I can highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to purchase audio equipment and when I have saved enough money to purchase my speakers, I'll certainly be returning there.
