My car was sent via insurance, they had repaired it but I had to take it back for rectification work. Waited nearly 3 hours on day of collection as it wasn't ready!I emailed to say my car has a issue over 3 months ago and still no reply. Communication is key in any business.

The team at Evolve have been very helpful in dealing with my car. Richard especially kept in touch to ensure I was fully in the loop about what was happening and offered useful advice on what to do next.I have felt very reassured throughout the whole process.

Positives :1) Friendly staff2) Couldn't fault the repair. Excellent job.Negatives :1) Poor communication. My car was with Evolve for 44 days and had three emails from them over that period. No explanation as to why the repair took so long.2) Have a strong suspicion that my car had been used as a runabout by one or more members of staff whilst it was with them. When I checked the mileage on collection of my vehicle there seemed to be a LOT more mileage on the clock than I recalled when I left it with them. No actual proof of this because i didn't make a note of the mileage when i dropped it off but just a gut feeling. Also empty sandwich wrapper and empty crisp packets in a rear door pocket that were definitely not mine ??

Was advised by insurance that this company would be assessing the car for damage following an accidentAn appointment was offered within 24 hours, all assessments were madeThe staff were friendly and helpful and answered all questions we had on dropping off the carFollowing assessment all of staff were friendly and helpful and gave advice regarding the next steps and specifics of the quote for repairs givenNo repair work was completed as the car was classed as a total loss, but as we collected the car back everyone was very informative as to why it was being classed as a loss, and what the costs had been assessed atPositive communication with the company and we were collected and dropped off by the hire car company, overall a positive experience despite the stress of a car accident

EARC are the Repairers nominated by my insurers to deal with the damage to my car. They were very flexible with pick up arrangments and keeping me informed as it turned out the damage was too expensive to repair and the car is deemed an economic write-off Richard was very helpful and reminded me I had missed some personal possession and arranged for me to collect them.

I really wanted to leave a 5 star review as the actual damage to my car was on the surface repaired well, and the staff pleasant and friendly.However when I picked the vehicle up there were 3 small dents to the driver door that look like tools have damaged it. They were actually drawn to my attention on collection by the body shop saying they couldn't repair these as it was historic damage. When I got home I looked at photos I took of my car before it went into the body shop and they simply weren't there before! After checking with my partner she also said they definitely weren't there before so I feel very disappointed that rather than own up, they tried making me thinking they were always there.Secondly, upon inspection trim on the pillar of my car window was not fixed back correctly with gaps and clips missing/broken. I since removed it, realigned correctly and added some metal clips missing to secure it back correctly.Thirdly after driving home from the body shop there was an error on the dash stating an error with side assist (the warning lights in the wing mirrors that light up when cars overtake). I noticed the light in the wing mirror they worked on was no longer working. What they don't know is I have dealer diagnostic equipment and knowledge from when I once worked in a dealership. I scanned the car, read the errors, took off the door card, followed the cables back to the wing mirror and all seemed connected. Then just where the cables join the door connection could see they had cut the two wires for the light not working to get the mirror off to repair. However when they connected it back up they soldered the wires the wrong way round! I corrected and resoldered, all good and working. Begs the question why they didn't check this before reassembling?Lastly I took my car to the VW dealers today for routine service. They called and informed me that someone has put the wheel arch liner on the car the wrong way round and the suspension spring has now damaged the liner as it was rubbing. They asked if someone had worked on the car recently and guess where the damage the body shop repaired was? Yep you guessed it the same side with the wheel arch liner being connected to the damaged panel they replaced.All in all really poor workmanship especially around the details.My car was there for weeks with no communication. I had to chase several times as the insurance company were chasing me. They don't answer the phone and I could only get hold of someone on their mobile phone. I would be okay with this if the job was top notch but sadly it so wasn't. More frustratingly is the fact no one fessed up to mistakes that they clearly were aware of prior to handing my car back to me.No, as much as my partner was persistent telling me to take the car straight back, I haven't contacted the garage about this as frankly I don't want any further side effects or complications with the car in their care. No instead I'll fix it properly, live with the small dents and just inform the insurance company they've been ripped off with a poor job.Sadly as friendly as they were I won't be using this lot again, really disappointed. My mistake was I didn't check and challenge the workmanship properly on collection. Don't make the same mistake and check check check!Ask to use the Rugby Bodyshoppe. Very professional experience from when I used them before but very busy. In hindsight I should have waited for availability here and wouldn't now be out of pocket
