My car was off the road, I needed a tool to rectify the fault, which I reserved using click and collect from the Coventry depot. Not having a drivable car I set of on foot to collect the tool. BUT I could find no way of accessing the depot as a pedestrian! The only footpath that leads to the site is closed with a locked gate. I rang the Coventry number and was answered (eventually) by a call centre at head office. The guy I spoke to couldn't help so he transferred me to a direct line to the Coventry depot - which was on an answering machine. So I gave up and went elsewhere. Crazy!

Always slow service, low on staff and big queues. Website is great and easy to use, just the delay in the pick up side of things.

EURO CAR PARTS POOR SERVICE / LACK OF PARKING HAS COST ME £150 for some LED headlight bulbs....
- SLOW SERVICE
- CUSTOMERS END UP QUEUING OUT OF THE DOOR
- PARKING SPACES FILL UP
- NO ACCESS VIA PUBLIC FOOTPATH
- ALL LOGICAL PARKING ALTERNATIVES WILL RESULT IN A PARKING FINE
I placed an online order and was told my order was ready for collection. I arrived at the store a couple of hours after being told it was ready for collection.
When I arrived there was a huge queue coming out of the shop and across the car park. It didn't look unusually busy, it was just incredibly slow service which meant customers were backing up out of the door. The car park was also full and after driving around a few times to find a suitable parking alternative it became clear that parking on any of the neighboring businesses would result in a fine. Given that euro car parts is located on a dual carriageway with no access via footpath it isn't possible to visit the store without driving, however there was nowhere to park. I had to park on the road in front of the store and tried to stick as close to the shop as possible.
I queued for 50 minutes (that's how long I illegally parked for according to the ticket) just to be told that only half of my order was ready for collection and I would need to return to collect it.
I arrived later in the afternoon and same issues. SLOW SLOW SERVICE, a huge queue and no parking spaces.
To rub salt in the wounds, the bulbs I paid £40 for stopped working after a couple of months and euro car parts have told me the only way I could get a refund is by returning to the store, despite the fact that I explained I would like to avoid having to park at that store ever again.
To summarise, they don't have enough staff to deal with a normal amount of customers, there is not enough spaces and absolutely zero other parking options which will mean you get a parking ticket.
Also their customer service help number is really poor and they don't really say anything other than 'you would need to return to the store where you originally purchased'.
JUST GO TO HALFORDS!

When you've ordered and paid online, and there's only a single line including customers who are still deliberating on their purchase. Waiting time, merely to collect, is therefore excessive.
If Europarts do not wish to increase counter staff, and waiting times, provide seating and a coffee machine!
