Great little Costa Coffee shop although it can get busy with "locals" (group of older men who gather every morning...?) and the HS2 men in the early hours of the day....like 7.00ish
Staff coped well and smiled away throughout.
Well done Summer and Leah who seem to be the heart and soul of the place. Keep up the good work.

Service was appalling.
We had toasties and I asked for a clean knife was given the option 3 times.
The assistant said they were stained but they were covered in food.
She then replied will that one do?
Just rude how was that my fault spending £18 and wanting clean utensils.
Later she also made a point of saying g something to her colleague so I could hear.

We come into costa regularly and spend around £20 per visit if not more (I have one coffee each morning too) and drinks are mostly good. However, today we visited and my daughter (4 years old!) turned her iPad up due the coffee machine noise and my husband and I immediately turned it down. So I was shocked when a staff member named Megan approached me in a stand off ish manner telling me to be mindful of other customers, I appreciate this but I had turned it down and the attitude in which I was approached was unnecessary and spoilt the experience for the family. To add Leah was very helpful and it?s a shame that the experience had to be marred.

Can get noisy in here and service is slow with wait for drinks/food staff are very friendly and pleasant

Parking outside the front of this small Costa so easy to get in and out with ease. The usual Costa menu and friendly staff.

Have to be honest. I used to visit Balsall Common Costa regularly when I lived locally. I returned today to find the most untidy and dirty Costa I have ever visited. There was crumbs and rubbish all over the customer side of the floor and this was 915 am so clearly had not been done at all. Chairs strewn everywhere. The counter top was filthy with drink stains all over it and the coffeee machine also disgusting. There was rubbish all over the staff side of the floor. The toilets were disgusting and the place where the sugar etc is stored was empty and filthy. The female member of staff was outside the shop on her phone and the male behind the counter looked as if he had been dragged through a hedge backwards. I will never visit Costa in Balsall Common again.

Dire version. High prices, poor service bar one guy who goes out of his way. Can't be bothered to give you cutlery or napkins. Don't even shout when your drink in coffee is ready. Done with this place as most locals seem to be. Hopefully get replaced with something more useful.
