As you might expect from a Nero. Nice layout inside, although far too cold for a nice sit down. Everyone had their coats on.
Staff were pleasant enough.
Coffee gave me palpitations.
It?s a cafe Nero.

Lovely staff but very slow especially when busy compared to the two Caffè Nero?s at Warwick University and the one in Leamington?s Upper parade.
Drinks were delicious though and it?s a very unique location.

I travel across the UK visiting many towns and cities and on arrival I usually seek out a cafe Nero to enjoy a cappuccino. From the outside of the only cafe Nero in Coventry the building looked great with a 36? glass view I was impressed and was looking forward to going inside. Unfortunately the excitement of the experience turned into complete confusion. With two counters and no one seemingly serving, customers waiting and everyone seemed a little confused and when a barista eventually called out who was next an argument erupted between two customers about who had been waiting the longest ending up with one of the customers walking out and another customer putting the items back that they'd picked up to purchase and leaving with his partner. This confusion happened twice in the four times I visited.
I was eventually served and the barista seemed particularly unfriendly and brisk . I completely understand it can be a stressful job but from a customers perspective its very unprofessional. I also asked if she could provide me with a loyalty card and she replied quite sharply "we don't do them anymore " no other explanation,so I took my coffee and sat down
The actual coffee shop itself was extremely cramped but not with customers but with tables and chairs and I couldn't see how it could be possible if all the tables were occupied customers would be physically able of getting comfortable with inadequate space between chairs. I think this is a case of maximum capacity over customers comfort

Went there for a coffee this morning, but will never visit again. The queue was so long and slow. I waited for 15 mins to get my turn. However, the counter guy asked me if he could have 5 mins to process the online order. 5 mins then turned into 10 mins? I don?t know how many coffees he made for the online order, probably 4 or 5, while I only need one. Just had enough, so I ran away for good, and did everyone else a favor. Look? you are not making the best coffee in the world. Definitely not deserve 30-min wait.

I ordered a pistachio cake, it was very tasty, but there was one problem, it was too dirty and not cleaned, but the food was very tasty

Could be crowded but personally think they make better coffee than others. Service could be a bit faster as it could be a long wait at busy time.
