Only builders yard to know with literally 4 car parking spaces for customers.Only 1 staff to serve customers who was taking break when 10 customers were waiting.Ordered stuff more than £600 and was told i have to pay £15 delivery charge.Got the delivery and the delivery driver rudely told that he would just leave the stuff by the pavement and not even on the drive.Ordered some expensive bricks and about 20 of those were in pieces when delivered.Do not plan to vusit this place again unless i have no choice.

Really good availabilty of stock, friendly and efficient staff. I went for celotex and insulation roll and they had it in stock and the big DIY shops had nothing. I'll make this place the first place to go if I Need building materials next time.

Paid £16 for delivery. On unpacking items found 1 slab broken.Called within 1 hour to inform the branch I'd need a replacement dropping off and was told I would need to bring it back for exchangeWhy would I pay for delivery only to then have to drive items back to you if your quality control fails????Oh, and good job I can make do with the WRONG type of sand you also delivered, because I wouldn't fancy lugging 250kg of that back in my car.Pretty poor.UPDATE: In response to buildlands reply:1. If you listen to the recording again you'll hear I said "I'll need another one dropping off" to which the reply inferred I would need to bring it back for exchange. If you're saying I should have "insisted" my reply would be: why should I have to?2. The bags of sand I have clearly state: "Building Sand". I know the difference between that and sharp sand.

Went into the yard this morning to order a load of slabs. Brochure stated one price and then at the counter I was charged an additional £2 per slab (after going outside and working out what I?d just paid) as it seemed very high. Went back inside to ask for a refund and the lady gave me a few excuses as to why this was?.needless to say I wanted a refund and she gave me one. However when I questioned her about the brochure prices compared to what she?d actually charged me?.her reply was startling to say the least. She said that prices may vary and that the prices in the brochure (that are all out on display) are not actually correct. So surely it?s the job of the sales staff to tell you what the correct price actually is before taking the payment off you? So to all those tradesmen who price up jobs using the buildland brochure, you?re wasting your time because the prices are incorrect. If I go to Argos to buy a new TV for £300 and then at the checkout they take £400 without telling me that the price had gone up, who?s in the wrong? Just make new brochures else it?s classed as ripping people off!
