Very friendly store staff, not the best at answering their phones but other than that I do not have a bad word to say about this store. Better quality stuff than Lions in Kenilworth but cheap enough to have a good saving from buying brand new or elsewhere!

Wouldn?t take our sofa because of an apparent tear that wasn?t the case some wear yes ? totally disgusted with you what do you want brand new !In response to yours below - BHF obviously don?t want to be bothered have you looked at your other reviews.I can assure you this will be the last time I think of donating to you.Your business obviously needs looking at from top to bottom!

The staff/girl at the desk was rude when I asked for an extra cover to pack the glass and other glass items. And she asked me "you want more ?" in an unfriendly manner.

We bought these items from British heart, Lower Precinct, Coventry about 8-9 months before. Before I made the payment I asked the representatives whether the driver's can bring the wardrobe to the first floor. They said we don't need to worry the delivery drivers will take care of everything. And we trust those words and paid the amount. When they delivered the items the drivers refused to take it to first floor and kept the table and wardrobe outside the door.Later myself and my wife had to take it to first floor after a struggle. Now I have to move to a new location.I have approached the British heart again and said we wanted to donate these furnitures back. They have scheduled an appointment today and drivers came on time. But these drivers refused to take those furnitures back. Especially the wardrobe as the drivers need to put a bit effort to take it out. These drivers are very lazy. They don't work hard to move items. It was really disappointing. They don't even put a small effort to take these out.Guys please don't trust about the delivery when you go to buy some furnitures from British heart.

Found out that British heart Foundation are too picky and too posh. They refused these 2 nice pieces which people would love and be gratitude to own.We also visited their store to donate clothing and got refused as they are full.

Never had I had to write a negative review before, but for me to do, it's because I'm very disappointed!! So I ordered a double bed base two weeks ago (it was a Friday), and I chose the slot for Tuesday. They never have an exact time, but they said between 9h to 17h, but they would call half an hour before. They never came, and on the next day, I had a voice message to reschedule the delivery as the driver was sick! How come you wait a whole day, to tell the customer that their order won't be delivered on the day that has been requested? What a joke!! Second time, with a new time and date booked, same thing happened..no delivery. But this time no phonecall! I went to the store, to understand what's going on, and shocking- they said they lost the paperwork!! FFS! Didn't lost my temper, I was not expecting massive things, because even bigger companies do mistakes; however, I had to pick up myself the items which was an absolute pain!!!! In conclusion, I'll be more careful IF ordering items from this company again.

The staff is extremely incompetent and disrespectful! They gave the item I bought to someone else and caused it to be stolen. The female employee on the phone never helps and keeps hanging up the phone in my face multiple times.Such employees tarnish the name of the organization.

I went into the shop a couple of timesThis man followed me around as if I was going to steal a piece of furnitureI find some of the staff unhelpful abrupt and rude !!! Most of the furniture is expensive . You can buy new for that price . I am not sure if the workers are volunteering or paid for working there . They certainly need to promote their customer service skillsSuch as good morning thank you for visiting the store etc etc . Greet customers with a smile rather than a frown

I've had good experiences purchasing goods from BHF, but less good experiences with donating goods. For example, I postponed the move-out date from my former flat because BHF could only collect on certain days. When they arrived, I was told that my large dining table wasn't in saleable condition (despite purchasing it from a charity shop 4 years ago and no change to the condition), and they would not take it. Unfortunately, this meant I had to find someone else to take it that same day, costing me £95 in the end, when I could have spent the time waiting for their pickup date selling the table! So much for altruism.
