I have been to the Blue Orchid a couple of times and either if I have Thai or Indian the food is really nice. The service is also very good, friendly staff. I would give 4 stars instead of 5 only for the amount of time it takes for the main dishes to be served.

As a regular customer of Blue Orchards, I have always been satisfied with the quality of the food. However, during my last visit, I had a very unpleasant experience. The dish I ordered was clearly off, which resulted in a stomach upset. Additionally, I noticed a kitchen staff member smoking a cigarette right at the kitchen entrance, which had a direct impact on the air quality inside. Due to these incidents, I cannot recommend this restaurant and I will not be returning.

The two starters came out after 45 minutes with mains coming out over 40 minutes after that. At this point we were all starving. The food was good however we pointed out when ordering that one of the diners was allergic to peas and we were assured that would be taken care of. When the food arrived the rice they had ordered had peas in it which was very disappointing considering the time we had waited as well as their allergy not being noted. Overall, we won?t be visiting again as the service was poor with no indication when the food would be arriving.

"Until recently, I have always had a positive opinion of Blue Orchards. As a regular customer, I appreciated the high standard of the food served. However, my last visit changed my mind completely. The dish I ordered was unfortunately inedible, which resulted in serious stomach problems. Furthermore, while in the restaurant, I witnessed a very unsanitary behavior of one of the kitchen staff, who was smoking a cigarette right at the entrance to the kitchen. Such a situation is unacceptable and poses a serious health risk to customers. Therefore, I cannot recommend this restaurant and I will not be returning. I hope that the restaurant management will take appropriate steps to improve the quality of service and ensure the safety of its customers."

I recently dined at Blue Orchid Thai and Indian Restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. While I was initially drawn in by the diverse menu and the promising reviews, my visit took a turn for the worse.
After enjoying a few dishes, I began to feel unwell later that evening. To my dismay, I ended up experiencing food poisoning, which was not only uncomfortable but also quite distressing.

Food was disgusting, inedible, sweet and instantly made me threw up in a restaurant toilet. Very dirty place, I won?t be coming back ever. Stay away if you don?t want to experience food poisoning ?

I recently dined at this restaurant and found the food to be excessively sweet, both in the Indian and Thai dishes. When we requested that the chef reduce the sweetness, the response was to simply add more spices, which did not address the issue. Unfortunately, all the plates of food remained untouched, and we had to pay for all anyway. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

"We ordered curry and Pad Thai, but the food was incredibly sweet. When we told the staff, they took the plates away and brought them back, only seasoned with some hot spice. We didn't eat any of it, but we were still charged for it. The staff were very rude. I would not recommend this place and I will not be returning. I was very disappointed."

Came here with family and everything was amazing. The food was great. The staff are so friendly and polite. They even warned us on how spicy the food that we ordered was. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back in the future.

I can?t recommend the Thai food. The pad Thai I had was very oily and didn?t taste authentic. Service was fine. Free parking outside restaurant

Tried thai curry and rice quantity was on the higher side, taste was good. Service was good. Price wise it was a bit expensive. They have the policy of each should order one main course on a non sharing basis, considering the quantity they serve this policy can be changed to avoid waste of food

Had a meal on 16th June for my husbands 80th birthday, with my family. Lovely food we all had. Two really nice young men serving us. Very nice surroundings. Definitely recommend this restaurant. We will all be going again. An absolute pleasure being there .

Horrible experience, thought initially I won't review but thinking that if I won't share my experience it's not fair ...we went there yesterday for dinner and the person whom we were attended by was very rude,poor customer service and his attitude was unbearable made our day bad,will never ever recommend this place to anyone, he is in a profession where he should treat every one good but the way he dealt was so bad.....food also came very late,he didn't come once to let us know that it's going to be late ,after waiting for long we had to ask him, that is thoroughly unprofessional......I hope he never repeat this and be true to his profession as that matters a lot....people go out with friends, family to have a good vibe, but our was negative, I wish we went somewhere else....Will never go to this place.
