Had an appointment for today 21-02-2024 at 2pm at the coventry branch to open a new account to be spoken down and turned away by the advisor. He also lied saying that he had tried phoning me every day for five days and that i hadn't answered until i showed him my phone hadn't had any calls he then stormed off. If this is the caliber of employee that barclays employs then avoid them.

always greeted very well in barclays. the abuse some staff receive from customers is dreadful. always looking to help every customer and they are running around the branch and you can see how hard they work. great branch and i love barclays

We visited to deposit a check! no help was provided. On top of that we were literally told "if you have eyes you can see it yourself" by the help desk reception. Even the senior executives who are supposed to take care and be considerate were outrightly rude and arrogant and said no for help . I am going to escalate this to the highest banking forum.

I went to the Barclays Coventry branch to deposit some money and I had a good experience because I was assisted by a kind member of staff called Franklin. He showed me how to use the machine and was polite and patient while making it easy and seamless to do my transaction he made my day awesome thank you Franklin you are te best.

They so lazy, making things difficult for people. Barclays should immediately need to change the majority of the stuff. Especially the short fat man walking around with the branch with 0 helping

Staff extremely unhelpful and uneducated we came here today as our card was not allowing us to withdraw money black guy was very useless and was not acknowledging us and sitting on his phone I have no idea how u employ people like this to work for a bank that can?t even speak English properly he was unhelpful and we did not get the problem resolved u should be able to withdraw money over the counter like Lloyds and Halifax Barclays have a funny way of doing things.

I was dissatisfied with the service we received at this branch. We required bank statements but were informed that the bank couldn't print them, which was frustrating.After we paid £32 for the statements ourselves, we needed the bank to either stamp them for authenticity or provide a letter confirming our account's existence for the necessary processes. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, the staff continued to ignore us until we ran out of time, causing distress to my wife.This situation needs to improve as it has disrupted our processes and is causing further issues, despite our trust in this bank. It's frustratingly ineffective.

I needed to deposit a large amount of coins so I joined the queue for the part time counter service. There were not that many people in the queue but some customers took a long, long time to be dealt with so I was waiting for more than half an hour. There literally is only one counter there now too, which was short sighted on part of whoever remodelled the branch. The staff were at least friendly and doing their best.
