After having a huge problem with ordering on line I decided to call in and try and rectify the problem. After buying various other items I approached the trade desk and a polite helpful young lady requested the store manager to help.Gareth was very professional and 100% sorted out my problem by locating the products at another store. He also showed great management skills organising staff at the same time as waiting for call to be answered.Fantastic job is this current times.

Found the wood I wanted - selected 2 x 9ft lengths & wanted them cut in half I.e. two cuts (you get 5 free cuts). Nobody at the desk - so ring the bell as instructed. Doesn't work! Attract the attention of someone out the back - explain what I want. Cant do it - only provide the timber- cutting service for timber!! But this is timber. No - apparently only provide the service for 'unfinished' wood!!! How do I get the 9ft lengths of wood in my car? Use a hand saw in the car park. Can you give me one then? No - apparently I should have brought one with me. Goodbye B&Q - hello Wickes!

I had bought a dehumidifier from b&q quite a few years ago. It had a product re-call. Took it back and spoke with Craig. And he sorted it out , called me and I returned it and was given a full refund. The man is a legend. Thank you and well done. ?

I use this store all the time for both DIY & the Garden centre & there's one guy who stands out every time. Today I brought a real Xmas tree & once again he was there so willing to help. I think he might be Australian, not sure but just wanted to say this guy is standout full on helpful every time I go to store. If you have a employee related schemethen please put this guy to the top of your list & reward him.

Scammed by B&Q verified sellersI have been scammed by B&Q verified sellers, I bought TV unit through B&Q website and I have realized that it comes from one of their verified sellers who is actually selling them on Amazon for almost half price. B&Q customer service is the worst CS I have ever dealt with, they are not trained, have no information and not showing any intention to help you. I was unable to hear or talk to them in one instance because of the the other people in the background sounding like the person was talking from a bar with people laughing madly and talking very loud in the backgroundLong story short the seller didn't accept to make a price match and replied with stupid answers that sometimes websites have glitches and the prices can look cheaper which is 100% a lie as the price was the same for at least 1 month on Amazon and still half price till nowB&Q did not take any responsibility or offer any help and said to speak to the seller who of course didn't do anything and seems they just play the role of intermediates to take a commission of sales with no responsibilities towards the customerTook the decision not to buy anything again from those scammers

OK for a limited range of DIY but not worth it for anything outdoor like slabs and bricks. It?s not a big store.

Missed the delivery parcel after waiting for them all morning which is reasonable and common issue. But when I try to arrange a redelivery following the card left and their instructions, the staff is not friendly and keep intrupting me. They said they would call me tomorrow until I show a little unpleasant mood and also ask me maybe to call them instead. The chaos of their management and rude staff really mess everything up nevertheless the less effcieint delivery system they use. Disappoined...

Found what I wanted but problems when I went to pay. All the self service tills weren't working and only 1 till open and there was a problem with the customer that was being served and queues started to build up. Eventually they opened another till but could have done it a bit sooner.
