Went to Gallagher 13/02/2025 to purchase new Double bed served by Jackie
Computer wouldn't accept Delivery date at first but Jackie used a different till to which the order was completed successfully

Guys save yourselves the mental hassle and go to any other Argos. I went there to repair a faulty product they sold me. They explained they need to take the product out and look at it, in doing so they heavily scratched the product but I sadly only noticed when I got home. I had to make several trips back to the store explaining that they damaged my product and it?s completely devalued my expensive product. Myself and my company were called liars and not listened to, we were told to come on a certain day and when we turned up they said they couldn?t help. We got told it was our word against theirs and they refused to check the security cameras. Eventually we received a phone call from the store manager explaining that they reviewed the security cameras and there is clear proof of staff members miss handling the product. I was then offered a replacement. But it was extremely stressful especially considering the product was worth over £200. I was very thankful for the store manger sorting it out but to be called liars, spoken over and ignored by the other staff was crushing.

Horrible staff try to return not working hair straightener after been use once and stuff denied says it's been used so you don't have 30days policy return.The shop staff says if you open box you are not able to return even if product not working. Citizen advice should check this shop for breaking customer policy. It's

I received a parking ticket of £100 for parking over 3 hours. Parking charge signs were too small and I didn't see them. Argos is really good, but the parking isn't. Be careful if you park over 3 hours.

You do not need to go to a proper furniture store for quality and reliable sofas, Argos is just as capable. I have bought aa rechargeable battery which power up well and 2 console contollers which have great rotation no matter what game with no slide irritation very nice products. I also got a grass cutting machine which cut well at Telford my previous address.
This one is great for my legs as i can bend and straighten relaxingly. On sofas which are 2- 5 foot up and not near ground the leg can get irritation cause it is slanted. On ground sofas no bend or bend the leg is relaxed.
I got 2 sofas they have been used for 3 months costing £280 and £200. With a £40 promotion discount on one.
The material is great my back can sustain being there for 45 minutes if not rotated and 180 minutes if rotating without getting up of the sofa. The bed is more firm than sofa the bed has patches meaning it helps the back arch.

Rude & unhelpful staff, normally the staff go above & beyond to assist customers to make sure they are happy. But the experience I received today was extremely poor. I?m not impressed at all!

I went to my local Argos store to buy drill bits. I needed one that was longer than the 5-inch drill bit I already have. I checked online but couldn't find the lengths of the available drill bits.
When I arrived at the store, I asked a staff member for assistance. She told me to search for the drill bits myself, but I explained that I had already checked online without finding the information I needed. Unfortunately, she said they only had the information that was displayed on the screen, and I still wouldn't know the length of the drill bits.
I expressed my concern about purchasing a bit, opening it, and then discovering it wasn't long enough. She informed me that if the package has a seal, I wouldn't be able to return it once opened. I asked for further assistance, but she suggested that I try Homebase or Target for more options.
I felt disappointed, as it seemed unhelpful for a store to send customers to competitors instead of assisting them. This experience has made me thinking twice reconsider visiting Argos in the future

I recently purchased a laptop from Argos (online) which was painfully slow and clearly plagued by firmware issues. Despite returning it within the first 15 days, practically untouched, and expressing my total dissatisfaction, the store manager and staff adamantly refused to provide a refund, insisting on only offering a repair.
When I reached out to Lenovo for assistance, they redirected me back to the store, claiming it was a retailer issue. Argos Customer Services were equally unhelpful, suggesting I make the trek up to this branch (all the way from Bristol) for a refund. Upon my arrival, however, I was met with the same refusal for a refund.
Despite citing Consumer Rights 2015, they sarcastically dismissed my concerns, quoting their own policies. It's disheartening to see yet another company prioritising their bottom line over customer satisfaction. A once-reputable company well on its way down the pan. Yet another dissatisfied (and lost) customer.

One of my favorite stores. You order online, pick up in store or have it shipped to your home. Very simple returns, you can take a credit card so you can defer payment for products for up to 12 months without additional fees. Huge assortment.
