The current management practices are severely lacking in staff, particularly on the till and shop floor. There is a noticeable absence of staff, leaving customers to search for assistance for their needs. Additionally, there have been recurring issues with card payments, resulting in lengthy queues.

Awful management who dont know how to treat customers. Management dont take into account customers and are incredibly lazy. I would have given 1 star but the staff member on the till this Tuesday was lovely- i feel bad for her as ive been in multiple times and shes working on her own on the tills every single time.

Opening times say closes 8pm but this is bulls***, arrived at 7:32 and the shutters were down and looked like the place had been closed for atleast half an hour. Completely wasted trip for something I needed the following morning, thanks for being utterly useless

The staff spent more time standing around than actually assisting customers. When they finally decided to ?help,? their behavior was discriminatory and downright insulting.
One staff member in particular had an unbearable attitude?rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. It?s clear they bring their personal misery into the workplace, making it a terrible environment for customers.
Businesses should focus on hiring employees who treat people with respect and know how to provide decent service. I won?t be returning and wouldn?t recommend this place to anyone.

Very poor customer service, one lone staff member on the till, with a queue of at least 10 people waiting. 3 staff members stood at the end of the counter chatting, ignoring the customers waiting. At least a dozen more staff on the shop floor, mainly chatting in groups of 2 or 3. I put my item down and left, I won't be returning anytime soon.

Absolute rubbish, bought a pair of joggers labelled as 14 charged me 30. When I queried it they said nothing we could do and wouldn't honour the price. Cheek of em offered me a credit note. I told em to stick it all back along with their credit note and I wanted my money back which I now have the pleasure of waiting 5 days for well done sports direct you've lost a loyal customer

Attitude of the manager and staff behind the counter is the worst customer service I have experienced , liars and blatantly rude, no excuses for any of it when I'm being polite and respectful. Stood my ground wasn't allowed to be palmed off and eventually I was proved right although didn't get an apology but didn't expect one.

Went this morning was crazy busy staff was rushed off there feet trying there best to help everyone. I found to pairs shoes for my daughter while waiting I felt bad for 2 members of staff hands full trying to get shoes for customers getting abuse of customers staff coming up with boxes and boxes of shoe's for customers. Staff did amazing and tried there hardest to get everyone what they wanted whilst receiving abuse of customers

My partner purchased Nike trainers and some sliders for my birthday. The sliders did not fit. We went to the merry hill store to exchange them for more expensive ones. The attendant advised this could only be done online. We paid another £28 for the new ones and when home started the return, only to be told we have to pay £5 to return a £20 item! And furthermore would only get store credit by which time we had already bought the new item in store!
I emailed sports direct and had no response.
From now on it?s back to JD. Really poor returns and customer service.
