Hidden away in a corner of a small industrial estate is what we can only describe as a slice of retro heaven. Two rooms packed full of retro goodness from the Amstrad CPC to the ZX Spectrum and with games for them all.The owner was great, very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and an overall great guy whom not only gave us some great information on retro repairs put us on to more local retro shops in the area, encouraging a proper supportive culture. Top bloke and a great store.Will definitely be returning 10/10

Great shop with lots of Pokémon cards and old school toys I had as a kid. Owners were very friendly and talked us through the arrangement of Pokémon cards and the order to help us find what we were looking for quicker.

If you are my age or have an interest in retro consoles, this place is worth a visit. Sinclair, Amstrad, c64 up through to the 16 and 32bit era, plus some of the 64 as well. Owner was a delight to chat with, and didn't seem to mind my two somewhat crazed boys roaming around looking at things (usually with their fingers..)We visited specifically for pokemon cards, wife and daughter both got what they wanted and were very pleased. Lots of 'bulk' on a good multi-buy, many folders of rares, plus a cabinet of rarer and some slabbed graded piecesHad a good few toys-of-the-age as well.. Tracey Island and the Grayskull Castle to name two that stick in my mindPHONE AHEAD - As an independent, the hours might not quite match what's on Google! The first visit he was already closed at about 5.15.Also bear in mind it doesn't look like much from the outside - its definitely bigger and brighter on the inside!!Finally, note that its on the 1st floor and the stairs are quite steep - youngest struggled a bit coming down!Neither of these last 3 comments should put you off visiting though - its a very short drive from Merry Hill if you're already there and worth a trip in its own right
