Not a great experience. They had Jedi Survivor for Xbox marked up at £39.99 and refused to honour the price and offered a pre-owned version. They then removed all from shop floor. This is not great, they have lost a customer!

WORST MANAGERESS EVER!My nine year old daughter bought a soft toy for her bday. We discovered damage on it half an hour later so brought toy back to be swapped or refunded. Told my manager GAME policy is no refunds only exchange or credit note. This was the last toy. My daughter became very distressed and upset as she could have gone to Clinton to get the same toy. She chose another one but didn't really want it. The managers attitude was cold, unhelpful, no empathy for a child upset in front of her. We left the store comforting our daughter when she should of been full of beans!. Partner went back next day to sort it out as we felt we needed to sort it. He got a full cash refund no problem. When leaving the store he spotted the same toy and asked thought you only had one? She had put the broken toy back on shelf to sell again! Unbelievable! I'm writing this to prevent this happening to anyone else. Check all you buy in there before leaving the store as bad practices are operating here.

First time I?ve been to a Game in ages.Only popped by to grab my daughter some Pokémon cards.Gentleman on the till was lovely! (Can?t remember your name though sorry)He was very helpful and even wished us luck with the pulls (if you know Pokémon TCG, then you know lol).Will be popping back for more soon :)

So where do I start.The store itself immaculate, wonderful selection of games, toys and trading cards.The atmosphere welcoming and cheerful.The staff and service absolutely sublime, the fine people at Game aided me in my trade in and informed me of offers which got me a preorder and an extra 25% on my trade in.No clue what any of the other reviews are on about here, the store is top notch.

A massive thank you to the female store assistant on Saturday (8/7/23) who served me and my stepson. It was his first ever purchase with his go Henry card and you made his day by being super friendly & taking the time to talk to him. An absolute credit to your store!

Found a Samsung galaxy phone my son wanted, just in our budget of £110. Had it taken out of the display case and taken to the till to buy.Firstly, I asked about the returns policy, the store manager seemed very reluctant to tell me about the refunds policy only offering store credit should I not be satisfied with my purchase. Finally got him to admit a full refund was available if faulty.First sign of couldn't care less about the customer rmangement but it was late in the day!Rang up the phone on the till, now it's gone up from £110 to £120. I asked them to honour the ticket price only to hear the fabled words "it's not our policy". As my son had set his heart on this phone now, leaving it for the sake of a tenner would have broke his heart, I was cornered, between my principles and my sons soon to be broken heart.I asked repeatedly to see the price ticket to take a photo of it and manager refused to show it to me, refused, "I don't have to do that" he said. Seems very strange and childish to me but, that's GAME for ya.At this point, I lost it a little, I admit I went a bit Karen on the manager, maybe swore once or twice(for which i apologies to my children, the store assistant, who would make a much better manager and the members of the public present, sorry!)The manager then began to Karen back at me, which i thought was amusing.Anyway, I had to pay the £120 and we left.Very very unhappy with the experience.In short, GAME will price there goods below the real price to get you to the till, then stick it straight up ya with a shelf to till premium, in my case +10%!!!BUYER BEWARE!!!!I understand mistakes are made, but when they are, the responsible party needs to own that mistake, and honour the price.Very scammy, also, manger in serious need of some customer care training...And possibly a bottle before bedtime.

What a great customer service. Got a ps5 for Xmas gift. I hadn't got a clue what I was buying had so many questions. Lots of staff helpful despite how busy they were. James served me explained everything down to digital down load to points on member card. Thankyou and well done

Huge selection of games. Bought a gift for my daughter before Christmas and was a bit disappointed to find that it was considerably cheaper in Asda. Asda don't carry the range though.

Worst customer service ever, went to pick up my pre order which I paid for in full online, because I only had i.d on my phone they wouldn't give it to me, because they couldn't identify me but they were happy to put points on my account for another item purchased in-store, I said I thought you couldn't identify me, manager was called over nice little shrug of the shoulders with no explanation, when I came back the following day, they wanted photo I.d a reference, my bank card and my email confirmation, the police don't require that much info, I'll just use Amazon next time I won't order or buy from here again, Amazon or Cex

Definitely would never buy from GAME again it is just CEX but way more expensive. And they don?t do returns in store which is ridiculous especially around Christmas.
