Went to this store today in west Bromwich to get a few items asked a member of staff for help and she replied you will find them in the plumbing section so I went over to have a look and I was confused so I looked around for a member of staff on the floor and there was not one I ended up walking out the shop as no one could be bothered to help me. I went to Screw-fix Where I got much better help and got the items that I needed. Never will I go their again!!!

I am a tradesperson who regularly purchases materials from various local Wickes branches. Unfortunately, I have found the staff at the Holyhead branch to be consistently unreliable, unhelpful, and at times, rude. This has made my experience there quite frustrating compared to other locations.

I always prefer Wickes to the other big DIY chains. They have a better range of stuff, the prices are generally more reasonable and they're in better locations.
Went there today for a load of tiling gear and got everything I needed.

Although this is my nearest wickes it's not always my first call, due to local congestion, out of peak times it's fine, staff are helpful and approachable, before my last visit I had checked online for an item but couldn't find it on the shelf, a staff member brought it to me, thanks ?
