When you arrive at the Q.E. Hospital in Birmingham (Main Entrance) and enter the building the reception desk is in front of you. On the right hand side is a coffee ? shop and the big convenience store has been replaced and is now a M&S store.

Adam was very helpful when I shopped in your store at the QEUH Glasgow. I have reduced mobility and was already carrying a couple of things from another shop. He processed my sale and packed my other shopping (with a smile I might add). Please pass this on to this helpful young man. People are always quick to complain. I am happy to leave such a positive review for Adam.

WHSmith , £2.49 for a bottle of drink on 30/06, really?? This is a hospital!! People come here for doctor?s appointments or with their loved ones. Not for entertainment in a music festival venue. Shame on you! There is no ethics left in business nowadays just make money by whatever means possible?.And QE you are equally responsible.

Very expensive, £2.7 for a small bottle of pop, most fridges had no drinks left so very limited selection available

I arrived at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with only a small amount of cash. I was, unexpectedly kept in overnight. I popped into WHSmith, discovering I was short of been able to purchase a book. I explained my predicament and the cashier kindly allowed me to purchase it. I would like to express my deep appreciation to this member of staff. They saved me from a day of boredom.I can also highly recommend my purchase the book too. "Traitor of Colditz" by Robert Verkaik is a meticulously researched and most excellently written account of early work of MI9. Covering the Prisoner of War stories of Colditz and other POW camps. It shines a light on a previously untold aspect of the Allied forces story and this embryonic British agency and their invaluable disruption to the Third Reich.I can also highly recommend "Between Silk and Cyanide" by Alfred Marx. Detailing The Special Operations Executive creation and the strategical struggles organisationally and, very much, personally for the author the fight to preserve the lives of active, and more importantly, captured agents. Whilst fascinatingly devising a completely new coding system. Both of these books I would put top of my "must read" list telling the tales of the incredibly brave and selfless individuals.

One of the best shops I have been in for a while and this guy owen helped me massively didn't make me feel incompetent at all just a normal shop in a hospital nice and clean and lots of products

Astronomical pricing, shop should be sued for theft, or extortion, in a hospital where there are people in need.... Shame on you

M&S prices are predatory at the best of times, never mind when they're the only shop in a hospital. And the motto of this place should be "that's not in the meal deal". Enjoy spending £4 on your selection of the 5 blandest sandwiches to rub salt into the wound of already being in a hospital.

Very poor meal deal selection. Whatever you pick, when you get to the till, its somehow not in the meal deal. What Is in the meal deal is a riddle

OK little store with a decent selection of things to get. It?s a bit pricey in places but for a Hospital it?s what you expect. Right near the entrance and hard to miss. Self Checkouts means there are few queues.
