Honestly the best Doctor I have ever had. Dr Sayed Aftab is a lovely man who is genuinely concerned and interested in his patients. Nothing is ever too much and he always makes me two small children feel calm and relaxed, and myself too! Highly recommend this surgery, Dr Aftab is the best!

Dr Syed and all the staff are amazing. My son was seen within an hour of me phoning up and diagnosed and sent up to the hospital instantly. The doctors at the hospital told us such a speedy response stopped our son from having to have an operation. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this doctors.

THE RECEPTIONIST ALWAYS RUDE, THINK THEY ARE QUALIFIED DOCTORS, CAN'T GET PAST THEM TO SPEAK TO DOCTORS EVEN THOUGH THEY GET UP FROM THE WINDOW, ASK THE DOCTOR WHO THEY SAY IS NOT IN THE BUILDING ( LIES ) AND COME BACK SAYING THAT THE MEDICATION IS FINE ? SINCE WHEN HAS THE RECEPTIONIST BEEN QUALIFIED TO SAY THAT THE MEDICATION IS FINE FOR YOU TO TAKE ? CRAZY !

I know people will always moan about everything in this world however personally to me this doctors is the best so let me make this review as thorough as I can.Getting an appointment is not as hard as some complaints seem to make out they have recently re worked the phone line system and with the addition of booking online or through the app getting in to see your preferred to is relatively easy.The reception staff can sometimes be rushed off there feet but they are never rude and always willing too help in anyway they can.The lady doctor is simply amazing my wife is under her for long term treatment and she wouldn't see any other doctor in birmingham.The male doctor again is superb yes he can seem a little bit abrupt st time but he simply doesn't suffer fools or time wasters which 6ou can totally understand but I have been treated by him for a couple of years now and it's always 5 star service.The prescribing nurse is wonderfully as Well and if you cannot see your preferred gp then she is willing too help in anyway she is able.So all around 5 out of 5 or even 10 out of ten for this surgery and I would reccomnd this surgery for anyone of any age ,gender and so on.

******PLEASE READ****My partner has attended this surgery for approx 3 years. She has not been well on many occasions and undergone many tests. She has had approx 5 blood tests and one smear test.Lets start with the smear test. She felt persuaded and scared into getting the test done, so she then underwent one with good intention. However, the nurse who carried out the test was aggressive in such a delicate area. She literally just shoved the metal instrument into the private part. This causesd my partner a lot of physical and emotional grief, as she felt violated. On top of this they delayed the results of the test even though we kept phoning regular. In the end they just said the results ?are clear?. However when my partner attended for a future blood test, they had the audacity to say ?you need another smear test done as we didn?t get enough cells the first time?.As for the blood tests. My parter has attended many. For one of them they said ?something isnt right, so we need to book another blood test for you?. They did not state what wasn?t right. However we just got another blood test done. After chasing up the results constantly the women on the phone said the results are fine. For all her blood tests over the years, the they mentioned the results were fine. HOWEVER!!!!! we have moved home and registered with a new surgery. They had looked at her blood test history, and my parter had OVER 4 DEFICIENCIES!!!! Ranging from Iron to several vitamin deficiencies. The notes of these blood tests mentioned ?discuss supplements?, however NOTHING AT ALL was discussed with my partner. On top of that, the nurse at the new surgery mentioned the blood test notes do not even contain the vitamin deficiency levels, which is basic for any Dr IMO.I write this review in such disgust because we have been lied to on more than one occasion over the years. It was not like we just walked in, got one blood test and based our opinion on the one blood test. We have been cheated on many occasions. We found this shocking after my partner attended her new surgery and finding out her real results of her previous tests.I do not find this surgery sincere at all. I feel as though they waffle over the phone your results, they don?t seem interested in getting you the correct information and good a fobbing you off. They also force you into random tests just so they can possible get their funding!!!I would never recommend this surgery to anyone. Please keep your families safe.EDIT: My partner has discussed this with family friends who attend the same surgery. The family friends have also been lied to about blood test results.

Fantastic Dr's surgery in Birmingham, I have been under several surgeries in 28 years & I can hand on heart say this is the best surgery I've been to, the Dr's & advanced practice nurse is fantastic at there job & includes patients in with the decisions what are made. The reception staff are very polite & friendly & they have time to help people. Could not ask for any more from any of the staff
