Decent budget stay, but very tired decor ? skip the breakfast
Stayed here recently and was greeted by a very helpful and pleasant lady at check-in ? definitely a positive start. The location is great, with shops and restaurants nearby, and there?s a decent-sized car park which is a plus in Birmingham.
That said, the hotel itself feels quite old and dated. There?s visible wear and tear throughout, and the decor could really use a refresh. The room was fit for purpose ? basic but had what you need for a short stay.
This is a budget-friendly hotel, and it shows ? no frills, just somewhere to sleep. If that?s all you?re after, it does the job. However, avoid the breakfast ? it?s not worth the cost. You?re essentially getting cereal, maybe some fruit, and a bottle of water. Better options available nearby.
Would stay again if I just needed a cheap overnight stop, but not for anything longer or more comfortable.

Avoid at all cost didn't feel safe wouldn't stay there on my own or with little children , walls paper thin, dirty carpet in room and corridors, broken electric socket in room reception staff friendly. very noisy at night , bathroom must have been built for a dolls house sooo small .General strange musty stale smell in our room. Noticed that all the double doors with stained glass windos some of which said fire exit on them were open so anyone could walk in off the street , very scary .We chose this for location as is near elderly family.

I have walked out of better hotels than this!! With loads on at the NEC there was nothing else available so two nights became one!! It smells, is very noisy and is about as good as I?d expect from a travelodge!! Next year if this is the only hotel available, I?ll commute!!

I don?t know where to begin , my mum asked the front desk if they have WiFi and she said no pay for the WiFi now In a rude way the room was bad the single bed literally fell onto its side it?s that small one good thing is that the view of the main road was quite nice and quite

No AC. Fan provided. No soap or shower gel in dispensers. Clean bed and towels. Cramped corridors. Can be noisy outside. Morrisons, M and S nearby. Takeaways over road.

The rooms were alright, but we got given a room on floor 1 that was not cleaned whatsoever but that was easily solved by asking reception and they quickly gave us a new room - this time clean to perfection. The service was unrated as we did not do room service at all. The location was good as it is on the main road with shops and essentials surrounding - great stop!

Perfect for our needs. Very clean & welcoming. We only stayed one night whilst visiting friends nearby. We really couldn't fault it........ for the money we paid on a Saturday night ?

It was fine for what it was. Service to get the key was fine, room had a bed. It was supposed to be accessible but it was a bath with a shower in so that made it more difficult. Need to make sure you specify double. As it was twin beds pushed together.
Clean enough and did its job.

My favourite travelodge in Birmingham, a bit of a maze inside but the staff were very helpful in getting us to find our room, perfect spot, great location, Toby carvery next door and so many shops nearby. Great bus routes too. Perfect for a quick getaway
