Dirty rooms with pubic hair all over the bathroom. There is also a white powder that looks like plaster dust from a a ceiling patch up that has fallen all over my coffee and tea sachets. Vending machine containing water is broken and staff weren?t able to provide any bottles. I expressed that there?s pubic hair around my sink tap and the night staff said ?it?s clean - we drink from it? as if that was the level of service I should expect..I know it?s a Travelodge but that?s not great.

fulfils needs as a traveller . used this place twice in recent years. check in was easy as well as staff friendly. people walk past window and talk but that's not a big issue . as usual Travelodge ecosystem was user friendly. using TL as a family room was pleasant

Cheap and chearful. Free parking, rooms are good for the price and clean. Take your own iron if you need to iron your clothes as none provided in the rooms

We checked in right on the dot at 3 PM and the check-in experience was unreal ? it took less than 3 minutes! The staff member who greeted us was incredibly welcoming, reassured us to let her know if we had any issues, and really made us feel at ease.
We stayed in Room 133 and honestly, what an incredible room! Easily the best Travelodge room I?ve ever stayed in. It was massive, with huge windows that let in tons of natural light. The cleanliness was spot-on ? everything felt fresh and well-maintained.
The corridors were surprisingly modern and stylish too, giving the whole place a really nice vibe. On top of all that, the car park was huge and completely free ? a rare bonus these days.
Absolutely exceeded expectations. Would 100% stay again!

I had stayed in the family room with 2 bed pull out. Very spacious, clean, was served by Natash in the evening who was very helpful and supporting, answering all my questions and advised about leaving a trust pilot review soo props to her. No concern around asking for anything as I needed more tissue which I got from reception and also needed a tea top up which I also got in the morning. No concerns around the area, limited noise, easy free parking space right in front.. Tracy I believe took over in the morning again very supportive and understanding.. Was a little late getting out but they knew I had a little one which needed sorting. For the 2nd night I ended up booking a room at the travelodge Birmingham Airport and that left me disappointed when I had more expectation and paid more for less space and accessabilty.

The staff were really friendly and helpfull the room was warm so asked for a fan and they were surprised 1 wasn?t left in room but gave me 1 the room has been updated since my last say it was nice to see in all my stay was nice relaxed and comfy my only thing was please renew toilet rolls as is not nice using part used marked leftovers so needless to say there was a new 1 that I used

After looking at other reviews, we took the chance and booked this for an event at the NEC. The A45 takes you direct there, and there's a X1 bus stop nearby if you wanted public transport the the airport/NEC.
Room was clean, extra pillows already there and a much needed simple desk fan was provided without asking. Bed, pillows were comfy. A little noisy outside, but closing the windows quickly sorted that.
It's right next to a McDonalds & Smoky Barrel that does some great lamb chops.
The car park is very close to the lodge which is great, but word of warning, i would make sure your car keys are in some sort of RFID blocking bag incase some locals try and tske a chance with your car.....
All in all, a very very good price for what we got, especially as other Travelodge/hotels down the road are nearly triple or more the price!

Good price for the night I stayed. Lots of other hotels nearby were way more expensive on the same date.
Comfortable bed and a adequate room for the night.
The room really smelled of smoking which wasn't great though. The lady on reception apologised but didn't offer an alternative room.
The restaurant / pub next door serves good food but is very busy and loud on nights that the football is playing.
As a solo business traveller, it's not the quiet and relaxing dining experience I would usually have liked.

get what you pay for i guess ! ...
room was a decent size , bed was comfy enough , extra pillows available in room , the used toilet roll was annoying and the shower was very weak but it did the job as it had water coming out of it !
there is NO control of the temperature in the room so im guessing it was automated , was VERY warm throughout the night which ruined any chance of a decent nights sleep , which led me to sitting by the open window to cool down.
Would also like to mention the car park ! it also works as in you can park your car there but there are alot of 'shady characters' (being polite) roaming at all hours !!

I guess it's value for money. Fair sized rooms with a comfortable enough bed. Handy location for our trip and a good sized car park.
However rooms were very warm, I'm sure the heating was on throughout despite it being a sound night, this resulted in a poor nights sleep and the fans provided are cheap and noisy. A lot of dodgy characters around the car park on an evening so not a comfortable experience if nipping outside alone to smoke.
