Very basic, standard room, but worth the room rate.
No aircon (standalone fan used by the hotel); no toiletries or sufficient side table space to put your belongings.
No USB port for charging your phone.
Reception isn't manded during the day or evening, only mornings for checking out.
The location is off-road and isn't in a very visible position. However, the location is reasonably quiet.

Medium size carpark on both ends of the hotel and a few under the hotel and it's free to use.
Reception is one the 1st floor
Lift was out of order! And lt looked like it had been for sometime!
Room a good size
Shower wasn't over powerful but hot enough
Bed super comfortable
Wifi free for 30 mins then £3 for 24hrs
Location not really close to anything good unless you like wicks or playing football.
Would probably stay again if nothing else is available.

I want to start off by saying the lift has been out of use for half for a year?this could?ve been noted because it would refrain people with any healthy issues from booking. Secondly , i was there for a week & during this stay there was only 1 STAFF at reception everyday. Plenty times i came into the lobby & seen so many visitors standing with bags waiting for the receptionist to return. Thirdly, the rooms had spider webs hanging from the ceiling & the carpet had stains which hadn?t been cleaned out properly leaving a vinegar smell. The shower kept going from cold to boiling hot & when i complained about this the reason was ?many people are showing at the same time? however this isn?t as issue that occurs in other hotels so that answer didn?t seem valid. The house keeper seemed over worked & had spoken to me in a tone i didn?t appreciate therefore i?d reported it at reception & asked to speak with the manager. When done so nothing was dealt with, i?d had listed everything i had an issue with my stay & in fact it was flipped on me & after a heated back & fourth i?d said the customer service here is POOR & she had said ?you don?t need to stay here?. I wouldn?t recommend this place to anyone. Need?s serious maintenance?s ,more staff, an considerate manager & water fixed. I?ve stayed at many travel lodges but nothing like this one?

Had to go to reception to turn the bed light off!! There was no direct switch for the headboard light. You had to have the other switches in a particular order for it to turn off. Absolutely ridiculous!!

Upon check in, I was met by a lovely young lady, she is called Simean (sorry if I've spelt that wrong) who was very welcoming and greeted me with a seemingly smile. The lift was out of order and my original room was to be on the 3rd floor. She very kindly changed my room to the second floor, which meant I had to climb just one set of stairs. If that young lady treats all her customers in this way, your definitely onto a winner. She is just what you want to see on reception, after a long drive. 5+++ for her

We stayed at Travelodge perry on 4 January and can?t enough praise my stay at this hotel. The room was clean with all needs in the room and I got some extra tea and coffee for my husband. The staff was really helping and supportive specially Zia Bi infact she is the star of the show as I booked my online and having some problem for booking and she helped me a lot for my booking over the phone.
She was so polite and humble and age make sure that I got my room without any problem. Person like Zia is an asset for a company and company should take care of such staff
Will definitely go back to that hotel because of Zia
