Very convenient with parking; staff always helpful and polite

Booked an accessible room and it felt like I had gone back in time. The hallway was scarily lit, like those liminal spaces you see pictures of. You only get 30 mins of complimentary wifi before you have to pay which I think is standard in all Travelodges. I found it a nightmare to access so I used my hotspot for as long as I had signal.
No plug sockets near the bed, only at the desk, which is especially inconvenient in an accessible room (I have to charge my wheelchair). One of the sockets had a broken piece of an old plug stuck in it, so that?s one less socket I could use.
The curtain rail was broken and had been ?repaired? with a piece of paper stuck on it, which fell off.
My card deactivated every day of my stay, even though I kept it away from my phone but eventually I realised it was going to happen daily anyway. So I had to go to the reception desk daily to get access again.
Stiff, rusty, creaky grab bars in the accessible wet room. I couldn?t get them down. The toilet had a very weak flush and a loose handle, took multiple flushes just to get a bit of toilet paper to go. There was a puddle of hand soap on the floor beneath the dispenser.
Window faces directly on the path so it?s unfortunately very noisy with the window open. Bedding was clean but it did smell musty, like it spent a little too long in the washer before being taken out to dry.
I can see why it?s the cheapest in the area. I was fine and nothing went majorly wrong but it was such an inconvenient stay for me. Next time I?ll pay more and stay elsewhere.
No disrespect to the staff, they were chill and helped me whenever I needed it.

The room was good however the view was awful and very strange
The evening meal was very poor, chips were not warm and the burger was fine.
The breakfast was buffet style however the mushrooms were dry, the sausages were over cooked

We recently visited for a cousins wedding and stayed at the Travelodge Broadway plaza. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. We travelled in a minibus and Frank from security allowed us to park it in the service yard as it wouldn't fit in the underground carpark. This was so generous. A special mention to Jeffrey and Zohaib from the Travelodge team. They both went above and beyond for our family and ensured our stay was comfortable. The rooms were clean and tidy and the breakfast was delicious. I would really recommend this hotel at the Birmingham Broadway Plaza!

Location is good, it's only a short tram trip into the city centre and the tram stop is very close by. Rooms are nice and quiet too, which is great.

£39 for a night stay with a family is a great bargain !
The rooms were up to a Travelodge standard with comfy clean beds and a hot shower. I had a great night's sleep. Also, this hotel is located in a shopping centre and you can have access to Nuffield Health's equipment for £5 !
I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and seriously this is the best.

Came back to the room late in the evening and our door wasn?t opening. We were provided another room for the meantime along with complimentary drinks. Then after checking out we got an e voucher. Excellent customer service.
