“Brought some games to sell to the shop. Daz was brilliant. It was out of the blue as we were let down by someone else. Daz was very accommodating and helpful. Prices given were fair and he obviously knows his games well. Didn’t get to meet the manager this time, but we will be returning soon.
The shop is set out well and is organised and well looked after. Would come here more regularly if it wasn’t such a drive. Highly recommend this shop if you are in the area. The retro stuff is a real blast from the past. Keep up the good work!”

“The first thing you notice about this branch when you walk in is how clean and bright it all looks inside. Sometimes the basement levels of these places can be a bit dingy, but not so here. It was a genuinely inviting and pleasant environment to browse around. The layout was clear and well organized, found everything I was looking for (last issue of Transformers 23 on the shelf, where did they all go?)
Everything you would normally expect from a branch of Forbidden Planet and I would definitely pay a return visit if I was ever in the area again.”

“I visited this place dozens of times whilst they were based in the Oasis, the staff are great to talk to and they always have something that catches my eye! I'll definitely be going to visit them at the new location during my next visit down the country.”

“Brought a Harry potter book and 3d model book a couple of weeks ago from Sellyoak branch. Went to make the model the weekend and there wasn't anything to make. Only the instructions were in the book.Took it back this morning and the lovely lady behind the desk exchanged it to one that had got the model in. Never got the ladies name but thanks my collection will be completed now. Thank you lady.”

“Came in because my pushchair was broken & jolting forwards wirh mh little girl in which was becoming really scary. Danni was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly & kind & she had all the time for us. She was happy to talk to us about the type of pushchairs I liked and worked with our budget too. She went up to the warehouse and then came back wirh 2 options and had found us a cheaper one which was exactly the same and asked if I'd like that one and then set it up for us so I could put my baby straight in it and use it right away. She really was wonderful. Her colleague Serena was really nice too and also helped make sure baby girl was comfortable in the pushchair too. Made an anxious mums time so much easier and will always be grateful!”

“Della who works at Smyth store in Castle vale is amazing. She helped me pick a present for my daughter who is 5 months. She made sure it was safe and the correct age limit and made a real genuine effort with my daughter and gave us her time to help us decide the best gift. She is truly a treasure to that store and it was lovely to meet her. You rarely find a person that will genuinely help you the way she did and care. Defo vist again if della is there.”
