Everything was fresh and tasty, £15 now for a carvery on a Sunday and enjoyed it ??

Tasteless and over cooked breakfast. Ordered two large breakfasts received one, sausages and hash browns over cooked, potato mashed into the bottom of the tub, everything but the bacon and eggs were tasteless, nothing good about this breakfast. Avoid this place

Booked a table at 8.50 after I had finished work after seeing it closed at 10, upon arrival the woman at the door (older lady with a ponytail and fringe) looked to a coworker at the bar visibly looking unimpressed finished her conversation then came to myself an my partner and very rudely had said they closed at 9 to have a look at what carvery was left and see if we still wanted to eat. Her whole demeanour was horrific she was so rude to us made us feel completely unwelcome and that if we were to stay we would just be a bother. I felt so uncomfortable I asked my partner if we could leave. The chef stood at the carvery seemed very polite and could see that I looked disheartened and made sure to apologise and offered some solutions which was very sweet. However after the attitude we received from the floor and bar staff who continued to argue about closing times which weren?t displayed correctly on Google I will not be returning I have never felt so unwelcome in a venue in my life. Awful awful service.

Booked for Mother?s Day at 3:30pm. The first red flag was there was no parking available so I had to dump my car next to a curb and climb over the passenger side to get out. Got to the top of the stairs and that?s where the end of the queue was. Can?t understand why the queue was so big if it was mainly reservations. Obviously very unorganised. Waited for a while, popped my head around and there were about 30 people in the queue for the carvery. Couldn?t wait even if I wanted to due to my toddler so we ended up going elsewhere.

I booked a table for motherday 2.20 would of rated higher but on arrival had 2stand in a queue for 20mins with my mom and 2of my children who are aldults now then had 2stand with my mom who is 85year up by the bar with a drink until they called u 4 tables cause they was over book and other customer was just walking in and just sitting on tables that was reserved for who had booked which is wrong BUT MY MOM DID ENJOY HER CARVERY WHEN SHE GOT IT ..

Booked a table for 3.10pm today waited in queue for 10 minutes to say I have a table booked to be told I have to wait another 20 minutes what?s the point in booking a table if it?s not ready!!!

First time visit staff polite and helpful.
Carvery awful nothing was even warm, very disappointing visit.
Will NOT be coming back or recommending.

Honest review here: Went on a Sunday for a carvery. The parking was full, so clearly the parking is too small for a busy day. The service was good as staff are helpful and professional. The food was actually quite nice. The queue for the carvery was quite a letdown as we waited aproximately 40 minutes. The food is displayed where so many people just walk by and there were obnoxious people in the queue that were just breathing over and leaning over it. Surely that is not right. The place itself could use a bit of a refurb as to have better ways of access and an updated decor.

The food was Luke warm and nearly cold by the time it got back to the table. Hardly any selection as takeaway meals were been filled leaving containers empty. The staff are rushed off there feet. Very busy and the chefs are having to serve and plate up takeaways and the waitress is rushed off her feet and having to prepare deserts also as a man down in the kitchen x the staff were great. Hard working and even though they were running around trying to please everyone our server Claire was friendly polite and managed to still be smiling x

First time for breakfast. Very good selection. Eggs were originally a bit hard but when I went back up there were fresh eggs which were lovely. Debs was very friendly and helpful. Veggie sausages which were cooked to order were great. Will definitely be back

We visit every week for a breakfast and catch-up with family. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and react kindly to my father?s repetitive jokes, especially poor Sue who is unlucky enough to see us most weeks.
