The guy with the long hair who works here is the most miserable man I?ve met in my entire life, now we all have a bad day but this is ridiculous, yes you don?t know what everyone is going through but this even pushed me to never step foot back in the kings heath branch ever again
I went in there a year or so back to get my moms watch battery replace, she has ?lifetime guarantees? from timpsons on all of her watch?s
This miserable sod refused my mom (who is in her 60?S bear in mind) to take her card because it was damaged ?. Are you being serious?
It?s made of cardboard and in a wallet do you expect it to be perfect?
Could easily tell it was from timpsons it had just been torn?. And he stood there as clear as day and refuse to let her have it
Disgusting behaviour
I then said doesn?t matter I?ll get her a new one and laminate it (I?ve never been so shocked in my life of how someone of an older age was treated when he could of just replaced the damn card!)
And then today I get three keys cut reluctantly because of course I know this man has no interest in his job and acts like everyone is Bothering him by being there
(Clearly from reading the comments/reviews I?m not wrong but nothing is being done about it)
Go figure I get home non of them work, I then have to waste my time and go back out to tell him and as soon as I walk in the shop I don?t say anything and he says ? oh there not working then as if he knew they already wouldn?t ?. I stated no they go in the lock but they just won?t turn, I didn?t say another word while he then stated it was the fault of the key I had given him to work off and that if it was his fault more people would be coming back in (if you read the reviews this is a common issue) and if it was the machine only one of them would have an issue not all three ?? I stood there yet again in shock like I didn?t say a word I didn?t blame anyone I just simple say they go in but they don?t turn
He then proceeded to redo the keys he gave me which is all I wished for and then cut three more ?. Putting them down on the counter with zero eye contact saying what he?s done to them and they hopefully should be sorted?. Why he cut three more I?ll never understand
But yet again I get home and the ones that were ?redone? work with a wriggle here and there, and the new ones cut don?t work exactly like the first time ?. Which means as he redid the set I gave him back it was a fault done there but again they are still not perfect
I will not be stepping foot back in the place as long as he works there, what a joke of a employee, timpsons is a household name for key cutting, shoe repair and other things but this is easily going to get the place gone on the high street because more and more people won?t be going back
I have never complained online in my life but this was a step to far for me
My advice to management is Get a new employee or watch this branch fail

Overpriced stuck up owner/manger or shop assistant with long hair doesn't seem very welcoming at all had 3 links removed from a watch costing £20.00 normally should only cost average of £7.00-£15.00 maximum, avoid this Timpsons at all costs because mo parking traffic wardens always outside would the worker is always rude never smiles & is incredible over priced expensive.

Just basing that review on the lack of welcome received in the store. I felt unease with the lack of friendliness from the staff. It made me rethink doing the repair I needed. Will shop around for friendlier more professional folks that doesn't make you feel unease just walking in the store.

Had to get some keys cut for someone in hospital. They were extremely helpful however the keys didn't work on returning they sorted a 2nd set however these were the same so I revisited once again and received a refund. I've been elsewhere and had a key cut that worked 1st time and was half the price
