We recently visited the Three store in Bullring, Birmingham, and unfortunately had a very poor experience with two members of staff ? Jay and Jack.
I?m extremely disappointed that, despite reading many similar complaints about them in other Google reviews, no action appears to have been taken. On what was meant to be a special day ? my son?s birthday ? my children were treated rudely and told ?no kids allowed,? even though they are teenagers and were behaving maturely. I was standing right at the door and witnessed their dismissive attitude firsthand.
When I entered the store, Jay ? instead of addressing the situation professionally ? walked back into the office. To make matters worse, Jack then came over to defend her behaviour, which was frankly ridiculous and only added to the unprofessionalism of the situation.
What makes this even more frustrating is that we had come in ready to purchase two phones, but instead we walked out disappointed and empty-handed. Shame on this store and the staff for such treatment.
As a loyal Three customer of over 15 years, I find this completely unacceptable. Staff like this should not be representing a professional brand in such a key store. Unless this is addressed, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter further.

Friendly and helpful. Just went in to get a new SIM card (recommended by tech support, because my original Three card is 12 years old) and it was all sorted in 5 minutes. Nice job :-)

I had a very disappointing experience here especially with Jake and Jay . The staff were rude and completely unprofessional. They made children feel unwelcome and even asked them to leave, which was both unnecessary and handled very poorly. Instead of treating families with respect, the attitude we received was dismissive and unpleasant.
This is not the kind of environment anyone should have to deal with, especially when bringing children. Based on this experience, I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of other businesses that treat their customers with kindness and respect, and this one clearly does not.

In March 2024, I wanted a broadband plan for 12 months, but the employee recommended a plan with an iPad on a 24-month contract, which I initially chose. The next day, I went back to the store, returned the iPad, and asked to change my plan to the 12-month broadband plan. The same employee took the iPad and told me he would change my plan to 12 months. I asked if I should sign any papers or get a receipt, and he said, ?No, that?s it.? Today, I went to the shop to cancel my broadband, but they refused to speak to me and told me to contact customer service. I called customer service to cancel, but they said my contract is still 24 months and I must pay £313.37 to cancel. I asked how this happened and explained the whole story, but they said there is no proof the plan was changed and I still have to pay. They told me to go back to the store, but the store refused to help. I asked to speak to a manager to explain that this was not my mistake but the employee?s mistake, yet the manager refused to help and told me there?s nothing they can do ? I have to pay £313.37 to cancel. I also waited more than an hour on live chat with no resolution. This experience has been extremely frustrating and the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I want to warn others ? even if they offer discounts or special packages, you may end up paying for their mistakes in the end.

Today I went to this store to buy a phone but had a disappointing interaction with the receptionist. She seemed completely disinterested in helping and wasn?t welcoming at all. When I asked for details, she responded with a dull ?Okay, I?ll tell you the prices? ? no enthusiasm, no effort to explain. Her rude and cold attitude made me uncomfortable, and I eventually decided not to buy anything. Really expected better customer service.

I went into the Three shop at the Bullring to change my personal contract to and paid from my business. I was told over the phone it would be a quick and simple process but it was anything but.
From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt tense. The assistant jay didn?t seem confident with what she was doing and kept asking me the same questions again and again, even after I?d already answered them. She had to call the manager over constantly, and each time she did, she spoke to them in a really blunt and dismissive way. It was awkward to watch and even more uncomfortable to be part of.
The whole situation felt unprofessional and unwelcoming, not what you?d expect when you?re trying to sort something important. I ended up stuck there for nearly an hour, feeling like a bit of an inconvenience.
Thankfully, when I got in touch with Three?s business support team over the phone afterward, they were great, helpful, friendly, and got things sorted properly. The network itself is solid too, so no complaints there.
But honestly, the store experience was poor. The atmosphere was off from the assistant, the service was sloppy, and I left feeling frustrated. Definitely wouldn?t recommend this shop, just go online.

Amazing service by Melissa and Jai. 10 stars if I could. I walked away saving money even with a new phone and they really took care of me. I'm diabetic and they gave me a sugary drink and cake to make sure I was okay which was really appreciated. They spent a lot of time ensuring I left with everything I needed. brilliant service once again. A credit to three.

My husband recently upgraded his phone at the Three store with Jugdip. Unfortunately, the experience has left us very disappointed. After speaking to customer service about a signal issue, we discovered we were misled in-store. We?ve been loyal Three customers for years and were told that, as existing customers, we?d receive a ?special deal? where the case, screen protector, and wireless charger (worth £150) would be included for free if we purchased an Apple plug.
However, we?ve now found out that these accessories were actually added to the device plan, meaning we?re paying for them monthly. This is incredibly frustrating, especially since we had already purchased accessories separately and didn?t want or need the ones included. It feels like we were misled just to make a sale or hit a commission target. Really disappointing from a brand we?ve trusted for so long.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Three store. The staff, especially one employee, were extremely unprofessional and lacked basic customer service skills. Instead of explaining the process of getting an iPhone on installment, he directly started asking questions without any proper discussion. His attitude was rude, and he acted as if he didn?t care about the customer experience at all.
After collecting my details and making me wait for 30 minutes, he finally told me I wasn?t eligible due to my credit score?something that could have been checked or explained earlier. It was a complete waste of my time.
I also spoke to another staff member, and unfortunately, the overall team seemed equally uninterested in helping customers. After checking Google reviews now, I noticed many similar complaints, yet the service remains the same. If the owner truly cared about customer experience, such behavior wouldn?t be happening.
Would not recommend this store at all.
