Something is seriously off with this store. I?ve never had a good experience here. It?s baffling that a branch of such a major retailer can operate so completely out of step with the rest.
Today, I tried to use a coupon for Unilever Persil laundry detergent. The staff flat-out refused it, claiming this branch doesn?t accept the modern anti-fraud coupons. No explanation, just a hard ?no.?
I had to contact the Tesco helpline, who actually did the right thing?they reported the branch for investigation and sent me a gift card. Credit to Tesco for that. But this is just another example of the Quinton branch making up arbitrary rules and ignoring company policy. Shopping here feels like navigating someone else?s personal rulebook rather than a professional store.
This is why I ordinarily avoid this store and do not recommend it.

Just had security profile me as I?ve gone shopping in my sliders and assumed I?m stealing. Paid for my shopping. After I spoke with the duty manager, she was just as useless as the security guard, eventually got an apology for the incident.

I like shopping here but there is one criticism, I have been several times now to try to buy the hovis 50/50 THICK sliced bread but can only ever get medium.Please get some thick sliced!

Can't comment on products, seems like a good variety.. all the staff look miserable.
Worst part is the toilet facilities are a mess and needs a clean up.. some parts are damaged under the cubicle and side of sink..

Store colleagues need to be better trained about service/disability dogs as even though I'm not deaf or blind not all disabilities are visible

Not the biggest Tesco, so item variety is slim.
