Today on 16th march 2025. me & my friends wanted to buy a cake and some wine from the store, and the manager, short, bald guy with specs was so unnecessarily rude to is. Evidently he was annoyed about something but it?s deeply unfair to vent an employee?s frustration on the customers. Very poor behaviour on the management part.

I've puchased 4 Christmas plushies which costs £3 each and I gave £20 note to cahsier. £3×4 is £12 anf change should be £8, isn't it? I got £8 and when I was about to leave, cashier said she made a mistake, so she will get me refunded and redo the payment, so I said yes. But she gave me £4 back and told me I need to pay £12 for everything. I was telling her everything costs £12 and she gave me £4 back, so I should pay £4 back to her but she was keep saying "I know it is confusing" and didn't pay me back £8 in total. In summary, I should have gotten £8 as change but I got nothing and paid £20 for something should be £12

Been coming here for years and the customer service is shocking as are the prices compared to other stores.
Management really do need to train staff on good customer service and to recognise and greet regular customers.
Apart from Dawn, who's extremely helpful, friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. The lovely security guard is nice too. They're a credit to the store and sellyoak.
The rest of the team are pretty miserable most of the time.

Person on tills was v rude. On his phone and when I asked a question was very dismissive and continued speaking on the phone with both airpods in whilst speaking to me. There was a queue behind me and he didn't even aknowledge or offer to serve anyone

I would give them five as they're friendly enough here but there's a recurring situation I find where their delivery van has parked on dale street it somehow interferes with the traffic lights to get back onto Bristol road and it means they never turn green. It somehow interferes with the censors and the council apparently won't do anything about that even though lots of people are effectively trapped for a significant period

Ideal little Tescos. Used to use a lot. Ideal for a meal deal, quick ingredients for dinner, baccy and papers, alcohol that isn't Aldi own brand, snacks, and a free ATM.Less problems from dodgy customers than the Tescos fuel station down the road but does have less to offer.Used a lot as a student.
