Bad customer service. Lady was standing there doing nothing, not doing job. Told me to do self service instead of serving me at the till. Absolutely lazy and incompetent. No respect for customers.

Poor customer service, disinterested staff with no basic manners. I don?t usually leave bad reviews but the staff at this specific store are incompetent at all levels including management.

Worst tesco ive ever been to.. security literally tried to attack a woman and actually got her shut in the doors for some unknown reason, bunch of multicultural staff who have no interest in the upkeep of the brand itself displaying either bad attitude or disinterest it felt like the most ghetto shopping experience ever.. im in shock that customer service means nothing to this tesco.. this is what happens when management are slackers. Never seen this in any other tesco so its clearly an employee issue, what a shame, no wonder prices are through the roof, the custom must be slow...

Worse Tesco ever, they staff need to be trained well they accused you for stealing which isn?t true, and make you embarrassed and ashamed, they need to know how to treat customers, and if any issue they must need to be assured first before stopping anyone, I witnessed this whole situation yesterday and I would just like to point out that it?s disgusting?

Had an awful experience at Tesco Oxhill Road, Birmingham on 24th October 2024 around 9:10 PM. After paying for my groceries at self-checkout, an employee named Manpreet, who was serving customers on the opposite side behind me, assumed out of nowhere that I would steal. She stopped me, accused me in front of other customers, and had another staff member investigate me. They found nothing inappropriate, but the whole situation was humiliating and left me feeling extremely offended.
I?ve been a loyal Tesco customer for years, but after this, I won?t be shopping at this or any Tesco store ever again.

My local tesco is ok, and I'm so glad it's there as it's needed for our area. But the issue is that there's a few people at the door and cash machine begging, which can be intimidating for mature or disabled shoppers. They have improved security, but something has to be done to allow customers to shop in peace and not feel awkward entering and leaving the shop.

There is a free ATM cash machine by the entrance with security staff present during store opening hours otherwise safe location for an Uber and/or free car parking. Although sometimes there are beggars and thieves.
