Unfortunately, the bread wasn't fresh, the tuna was dry, and the service was unfriendly. On a good note, the store is clean, and the vegetables are fresh.

am writing to express my disappointment with the service and food quality I received at one of your Subway locations. On 30/08/2024 at 10:20 AM, I visited the Subway located at Unit 4, 40A Frederick St, Birmingham B3 1HN, and had an extremely unpleasant experience.
Firstly, the staff member who took my order was unprofessional and rude. She shouted at me during the order process, making me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. This level of customer service is not what I expect from a brand like Subway.
Moreover, the sandwich I ordered was unhygienic and not up to the usual standards I have experienced at Subway. Unfortunately, after consuming the meal, I experienced food poisoning, which required medical attention. This not only affected my health but also caused me significant inconvenience.
I am extremely disappointed with this experience and feel that it reflects poorly on Subway?s commitment to customer service and food quality. I hope that you will take this matter seriously and address the issues with the staff involved, as well as review the food handling procedures at the location in question to prevent such incidents in the future.

Great sandwiches, prices have risen

This Subway is located in the Jewellery Quarter and is one of the more expensive Subway franchises. However, the shop looked dirty, flies in the shop (it is was a hot day so the door was open) server had a bit of an attitude. I asked for a 6" turkey on wheat. The bread looked really dry and crumbly and was definitely not 6"...I'd say 4" at most. The server slapped 2 slices of turkey onto the bread, when I asked for another slice she said no only 2...I challenged this saying that every other Subway I've been to, or ordered from give 3-4 slices on 6" subs...she responded well here we only give 2...if I give you more the camera will see and I'll get into trouble. I told her no problem, I'll go elsewhere and exited the shop.
When I was outside I stopped to put my purse back into my bag and saw her take the turkey and cheese off the sub and put it back into the deli chiller and put the bread back with the other subs.
If I could give 0 rating I would. I'm actually glad I didn't buy a sandwich as the turkey looked dry and the salad was old and wilted. My review is not to be salty or unkind, just my experience. However, there have been other comments on the portions and food quality, so not everyone can be wrong.

Tiny shop, dirty, no where to sit and there was a hair in my food. When confronting the staff they didn't care and clearly tried to blame us. The hair was IN the sandwich. Disgusting shop.

There is two girls was working today I don?t know from India or Pakistan anyway they was so rude and was talking to me and my wife so bad & also was asking about special bread they have but they told me we need that bread for us so choose something else , then they gave us really cold food was so bad and even the coffee was so strange so was so bad quality and I do have record of them how they was talking to me and my wife

My bread was very tough and chewy. I feel like it was probably left for quite a while before it was served to me. Least enjoyable subway experience I've had food wise.

Staff don't know how to use company app, salad on my footlong was pitiful as if its the staff who are paying for the Lettuce out of their own pocket, same for marnia sauce on my pepperoni slice. Very clean shop for a positive note

The food is alright, you get what you expect. The service is a disgrace. They would randomly decide when to tell you they are not part of Subway loyalty program. Very rude and poor attitude.
