I had a very disappointing experience at this store. I went in to try on a pair of shoes and asked to try the second one as well, since I have flat feet and need to assess comfort and fit properly. Shockingly, the staff refused and said the shoes were expensive, then told me they had to check with security before letting me try both. That was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional.
As a paying customer with a genuine need, I expect to be treated with basic courtesy and not suspicion. Being made to feel like a potential risk simply for trying on shoes was humiliating. I left without buying anything, and I definitely won?t be returning. This is not how customers should be treated ? especially those with specific medical needs.

Terrible service. Staff have a face on and just complaining to co workers how they don?t want to be there. Went today, was not busy at all but still waited 15 minutes just for a pair of shoes different size to come ( was only 4 customers in the shop ). When I proceeded to tell someone he was like it?s busy what do you want me to do.

The worst Sports direct store, i dont even know whats the point of it being open. No stock of anything and the service is dead. Seriously what is the point of being open, rather go to the fort shopping centre, dont waste your time here.

I went into the Swan store yesterday which was a Wednesday evening not busy at all. It was 7.30pm and still 30 mins left before the close time.
I went in for a quick purchase as my child needed new trainers for school.
All the staff were busy chatting and doing their own thing, not interested to assist
My child was upset and crying I had to ask a few times for assistance in the end I just rushed and purchased one pair. 2 of the male staff just looked at us with dirty looks as we walked out .
0 customer service I am surprised as I?ve never received such service like this.
This store will deffo loose out on customer due to poor customer service.
As a customer I wouldn?t want to return there again.

went in today, couldnt find the size i needed so asked the assistant there if he had my size, whatevers on the shelf he said, could you find out please, not really was the response, wasnt like he was busy serving or anything, what unhelpful lazy staff you employ !!

Terrible service today at SOLIHULL sports Direct. The online shop sent me the wrong size trainer with the right size trainer box. I tried to return this in store however they said online returns only. I?ve sent sports direct numerous emails about there mistake no reply. She said to buy the same product AGAIN! and they will give me a refund for the other one online. I?m still waiting for an online refund. Anyways the same trainers I bought again in the correct size, were in worn and terrible condition and the only size. I needed them for an occasion therefore had to buy, as the manager wouldnt even order a new size in the same shoe for instore delivery for me. Never going to purchase online or instore. What a horrible experience with sports direct online and instore. Stay away. Sports direct is a scam store, DO NOT BUY ONLINE!!! JD Sports is so much better experience.

The manager and staff was very rude they don?t know how to speak with customers.I was trying to exchange a damaged jacket which I bought a day before.They did not want to exchange and the manager told me go to another store for exchange and she was very rude to me.

Too busy. Too many expensive items for an area which in my view isn't among the richer households as small heath, Sheldon, Yardley & acocks green are on their doorstep. They need a value range.

Echo with the other reviews on here, the manager and the staff have zero interest in helping you. I got the products down from the top shelf myself because no one paid any attention. They refused to accept a return which went through just fine at other stores, I went to multiple stores in fact and nowhere else had any issues.
