I've used specsavers twice now, first time for an eye test and my first pair of glasses and second time for my 2 yearly eye test and getting my frames reglazed with my new prescription and each time I've been there (Harborne Birmingham) it has been a very pleasant experience. Staff have been super helpful both times and I've been very pleased with their products.

My daughter?s been coming to specsavers for over a year now, and we?ve never had an issue replacing glasses (she?s 4) or getting them fixed. Now all of a sudden a manager called Jas is telling us we need to ?prove? my daughter?s prescription, when all I?ve done is ask for a replacement pair of glasses? I?ve literally called the eye hospital (rigmarole), got them to send evidence of said prescription, emailed it to specsavers, and now the same manager is saying that isn?t good enough because it?s from 2024. My daughter?s prescription hasn?t changed since then? am I now expected to go and chase the hospital again? Last time I checked, they?re the ones who know what they?re talking about. We won?t be coming back here. Vision express a few doors down seem to be a lot nicer xxx

I bought my mom here for an eye test and Jas made the entire experience so pleasant! She took her time in explaining the different lens options and pricing in a way that was easy for my mom to understand and she couldn't be happier with her new glasses! Will be recommending Jas in Harborne for all of the family as she made it such a personable experience.

The service here is beyond fabulous. The optometrist literally saved my vision by recognising quickly that I had a problem and sending me to the eye hospital, armed with a letter to ensure that I was seen quickly.

Fantastically quick service! Amit (the optometrist) carried out the test giving me great explanation of the results. Jas, who I believe is the manager, helped guide me through my options and showed me several different lens options before I selected a pair. She was really helpful and definitely knows her stuff! Top service and I will be back in 2 years! :)

I?ve been a longstanding customer of Specsavers for many years, however we will not be returning. We had two separate issues of poor service particularly from a manger called Jas. We have made several complaints through the correct channels and it remains unresolved. The treatment of me and my mum was disgusting. However I highly recommend vision express just a few doors down!

Excellent service at Specsavers Harborne ? professional and reliable.The manager was fantastic, taking time to resolve a past payment issue. They were patient, clear in communication, and very helpful throughout.

I was very happy with the quality of the care I received during my eye examination. However, my overall experience was marred by being let down when I collected my new glasses. If an order is incomplete at the arranged time of collection, meaning that a customer is going to have to make a repeat visit, an email or text in advance would be very helpful.
