Should of took £250 and gave it to charity. Completely wrong prescription and a second pair of glasses that wasn't my choice or what I ordered. Told I was wrong. Cattle market of upsell and just an awful experience.Another £250 with a competitor to finally get specs that I wanted that don't blur my vision or give me headaches.No refund offered as I left a negative survey.

Please do you research before using this company as the chances are it will end badly. They couldn't get a simple prescription right and their after sales customer service is terrible!!!

My colleague had a shocking experience with the amateurs at Longbridge Specsavers, which resulted in multiple visits to rectify to continued errors. Even worse they offered a refund due to the problems, but then reneged on their promise, so will have to go legal to get what is owed.Avoid at all costs!!!

My father, who was given 3 months to live due to a cancer diagnosis was completely ripped off by this branch. It is totally disgusting how they treated him. His eyesight deteriorated quite rapidly and he sought their advice which was - 'your prescription has changed and you need new glasses'. £360 later, they made absolutely zero difference. Worried it might be the cancer spreading, he went to the eye hospital and they found that there was nothing wrong with his prescription - he needed his cataract sorted. Once this was done, he could see almost perfectly. Specsavers have come back to us stating that my father refused a cataract referral but a member of the family was present and he definitely did not. Specsavers had actually said that the new glasses would correct the problem , nothing to do with the cataract. Therefore they are inferring that we are liars. They refuse to acknowledge their mistake, they have refused to refund or provide any form of credit note. They have closed ranks and fobbed us off completely. They have offered 50% off any further product from the branch which is irrelevant now he is dead. I do not recommend anyone attend this branch.

Poor customer service, optician wanted to finish shift and pretty much left with zero handover. Won?t be visiting this branch again.

So wheeling my way into this clownshow, i was met with immediate racism as the staff told to leave as i am black, now as a black woman living in York i am more than used to this but the thing i couldnt handle was the doors were not wide enough to accomodate my wheeled chair, this wouldnt have been an issue however i becane wedged in the door and the staff then just stood there and laughed i then tried to get out of my chair and crawl in through the entrance with everyone incuding customers ignoring me, anyway having crawled into the shop and folded my chair through the door i eventually wheeled my way in to the front desk, where the young buck told me its a 5 hour wait although i was 15 minutes early, so after a 5 hour wait i was finally seen and the person doing the eye test told me i had eyes different to most blacks (not sure what that means but hey) he then asked if i had ever been to jail for any violent crimes like most others like me and believe me this is the tamest of what he said, now as a disabled black woman i was less than gripped and on the way out i once again had to crawl my way out onto the dirty street whilst being laughed at needless to say this place aint havin my biz again ya feel xx

I had a pair of frames replaced with my prescription lenses. Jenny who advised me was great. She explained everything fully. I was reassured that i could take the glasses back if I didn't get on with them within 30 days. These were my first varifocal lense.My glasses were back within a week. Jenny again saw me and was polite and informative. Unlike others reviews, mine was a pleasant experience. Thankyou Jenny

I would not recommend Specsavers, Longbridge to anyone. From start to finish very amateur. Booked an appointment with the optician, and on first occasion they never had me listed.Some staff are good but most seem very inexperienced.When you buy designer glasses, it?s normal practice they don?t provide you with the designer case. I?m still trying to get my case to go with the designer glasses I purchased a month ago.I won?t be going back and would advise you to go else where?..UPDATE: Three months on since purchasing the glasses, I am still waiting for my designer glasses case.

I had the misfortune to use Longbridge Specsavers, which was a complete disaster from the start.So far they have had 3 attempts to supply the correct glasses, but have failed each time.I believe each store is franchised, so you might have better luck at one of the others.

Fantastic experience at specsavers longbridge today / Saima (optician) was very thorough and approachable. Then Andrew made sure the glasses fit was perfect. Thank you both very much as this was a completely different experience to the one I had recently.
