Tried to open an account. The reg form ask for a contact telephone number, I gave my mobile number. Then it requested a an alternative contact number that couldn't be a mobile number. I don't have a landline! In this day and age this is quite common? I'll just have to put my money elsewhere!

I asked to transfer in an isa; they only transferred half; then they cancelled the application to transfers-in which they generated but blamed my current provider. Awful customer service, awful administration.

Do not use Shawbrook Bank for bridging loans, they have little clue in regards to this. The idea of people using bridging loans is to fast track lending, however, Shawbrook does not understand the concept of this. We applied a bridge against our unemcumbered property worth £540k, Shawbrook dragged their heels and prolonged the process causing huge delays resulting in us losing money. We will not be using them again.

Thought reviwers were being harsh, but accepting numerous ID is part of procedures but after all that first bank that has website where i can't add any funds.What utter mindless time -wasting rubbish

Applied for credit to purchase sharps furniture and after accepting the contract they sent me "extra conditions" ten days later. This now severely going to delay my purchase/installation. I will be choosing my own provider now not the one recommended by sharps. Not happy.

Absolutely shocking set up. Took 6 weeks to transfer my cash ISA to another provider. They were paying 1.4% on a variable rate when others were paying 4%. When I complained the complaints department were appalling. The delay was because although I was using correct sort code and account number I was also adding a reference number that their system didn't need. No compensation paid so off to ombudsman!

Shocking service to say the least keep well away. I was told a letter has been sent out to me which hasn?t arrived in just under two weeks. Called back numerous times, complaints proceedure is close to non exsistent. They can?t transfer the call to management as they state they don?t have any within the team. Shocking service from a bank of this magnitude. Keep away

I would not even give them 1 star a very bad bank firstly they want access to your financial records to give you a loan then when you settle the loan you need to go through an interrogation to where you got the money how much do you earn can you afford to settle the loan and they use the FCA as the reason for the questions absolute rubbish DO NOT USE THEM PLEASE

I tried to have my ISA transferred from Shawbrook Bank to Virgin Money. Shawbrook refused and said that the account was closed, which it certainly wasn't. So I would avoid if I were you. It seems that it is their money and not yours.

I opened an account because they offered a good interest rate but within a week of opening an account they cut the interest rate. I questioned there security because it seemed to easy to open an account but never gave an answer. I asked to close my account but that's when they turned nasty. Having opened my account no questions asked and accepting my money. They then wanted all sorts of random information just to simply mess me about and put me off leaving them. Trying to communicate with them was so hard because there systems are so antiquated probably because it works in there favor. Beware this bank is more like back street establishment. Think twice before giving them your hard earned savings.
