I have been working in Automotive, for 20 years. Over the last 6 years, we have recommended Shams Auto to all of our friends. We have found the shop via click mechanic, 6 yrs ago when we had an issue with one of our cars which needed a quick fix - previously repaired by a prestigious repair shop which actually provoked the issue.The fix was quick and the price was really decent. Since then, all vehicles in the household have been regularly been checked, serviced and fixed by the same person. The trust built over the years, the confidence in the oem parts and manual labour, the fair pricing and support throughout the process makes Shams Auto a partner for life. A good mechanic is like a doctor, once you found a good one you never let go. Thank you guys for all the support throughout the years.

Had my break pads and dics replaced couple weeks ago. Excellent service. The gentleman managed to book me in even though I booked last minute. Now I have my breaks running smoothly and have been quoted a fair price. Very honest professionals working at this garage. Very much appreciated!

Always come here for MOT/ repairs.They do a good job for a very fair price.Quoted me a price for some work, and when I got the Bill it was cheaper than the estimate. Can't say fairer than that

Shams Auto really is a great example of a community asset - they've gone above and beyond when we've needed automotive help. They not only fix the issues at hand, but also go that little extra mile in order to help out and provide advice - and always at a reasonable rate.

5 star review for work they didn't do! I had my car booked into Shams through an online mechanic service to get a clutch replacement mostly because of a whining noise which I'd been told was due to a worn clutch release bearing.Zohair called me up the day before, concerned that perhaps the noise was caused by a worn gearbox pilot bearing. He had me do some checks in my car and I called him back shortly later to report. We decided together that the clutch didn't need replacement now but likely would at some point in the future if and when the gearbox was worked on. His advice was you can drive on with a gearbox pilot bearing 'whine' for likely thousands more miles so therefore no point to change the clutch tomorrow.I'm so impressed with this sincere and honest attitude, it 'saved' me £450. How many other garages would just let you go ahead and spend the money in vain lining their pockets in the process?
