Absolutely delicious food. Even the chutneys with the poppadums were the best I?ve ever tasted. The service was excellent. Definitely recommend. Came because the Harvester across the road had a wait time on a Thursday of 1 hour! Glad we did!

Food were smelly along with a burning smell. They don?t even know what is mint sauce they gave us mango sauce instead. Grill chicken was so smelly no one can eat. Biryani was like 2 days old and looks like it was microwaved after defrost them. Really bad experience!

I took the family here for Christmas Dinner. How I wish someone had given my head a wobble... the worst mistake I have made over the festive period, and trust me, I have made a fair old few. We are a family of 5, 2 of us had the turkey curry whilst the other 3 (2 adults and 1 child) had the Christmas dinner. The menu stated that it would be a veal starter with the curry and a mushroom soup starter with the dinner. When the starter arrived we were served a kebab starter and what can only be described as a cupa soup in a bowl. The excuse was all the veal starters had gone. The soup was luke warm. The mains then arrived, after questioning what plate was for a child (as all 3 dinners where the same size, even though you pay extra for an adults size) the waiter then took the 2 adults plates away to get the correct portion. My son then poured the gravy over his dinner only to discover it was stone cold. This then had to be returned. The curries then came out, again it was luke warm and waterery. The worst curry I have ever tried to eat... Absolutely shocking service all round, the waiter spilt 2 drinks and a dip on the table and the food was nothing short of luke warm runny dishwater. Never will I return there again.

As out of towners gave this place a try! Wowsers we were blown away by the all around experience from start to finish! Everything bang on from restaurant cleanliness food staff ambience & atmosphere! Definitely would come again if we in the area absolutely bang on!.????

Just had Christmas here and it was absolutely shocking. Tried to serve child portions as adults. The gravy was stone cold and then the dinner was cold.The turkey curry came out luke warm and then the waiter spilt 2 drinks over one of our guests.I will never ever eat here again.Ruined our Christmas.

Got told from a friend about the restaurant, ate with some friends. Great food, great staff and alright price range, Honestly would go there again.I?d recommend the sizzling masalla chicken tika and the handi gost.Overall nothing to complain about.

Went to the Shabar Baltic restaurant for Christmas dinner, food excellent great service and a friendly atmosphere. All round very enjoyable.

Food was ok but not hot enough , service very fast , hardly a break between courses, place is clean , staff efficient but not engaging .Parking is a mare when busy, If everywhere else is busy I'd go back !!.

Ordered a Persian chicken Biryani,,after asking the waiter the difference , he mumbled something about nutmeg . Like a fool I went ahead and ordered one , bad mistake! When it was served, the only difference was a omelette on top . The meal was full of salt , I ate what I could ( I didn't want to complain and spoil the whole meal for the family) . Had a bad night's sleep , as my stomach couldn't handle the bad food I had eaten !

Haven't been in a while but know that Shabar can cure any curry craving I have, went for dinner and had lovely food and fantastic service. They were very attentive and we never felt rushed.Seemed very quiet for a Friday night but hope their business ramps up in the lead to Xmas!

We would have had a lovely meal, but it was spoilt by a very loud family who gave their child a phone and had Bing!!! Playing at full volume, if i wanted that while i ate i could have gone and sat with my grandaughter and had a take away. Spoilt the whole experience and i feel the management should have stepped in, everyone by them were tutting and complaing. They also allowed thechildto empty the salt cellar all over the carpet and scream at the top of its lungs. Real shame.
