Made the correct call to ask to speak to this branch to arrange a collection of money. after 30 minutes of frustration I was faced with no option except to call back. That's a call back to the call centre who themselves cannot get their call answered by the branch!!!! Can I leave instructions with you to give to the branch? No, not allowed.
Best solution is to leave Santander, I really don't need this terrible service.

Staff are nice but they don't seem to be doing their job properly. I had needed documentation attached to my account and since October 2024 I've been trying to deal with this situation I keep coming to the branch and each time they tell me it's been attached and it's sorted & each time they don't attach it properly! It's the end of March 2025 now and I'm so fed up!

As others have said, waited for over 30 minutes for counter service at lunchtime yesterday, only 1 agent working, queue of 10! plenty of other staff around - why?

I went in today and was very pleased with the service I used to bank with Lloyds and they were awful since being with Santander the service and app are great we were greeted by Corrine and served by Yassine both very professional and friendly.

What's the point of restricting cash withdrawals when the bank is closed?
You've reduced business hours and also have unreliable ATM machines > TWO ATM machines!!!

Opening hours are 9:30-3pm, meaning the bank is inaccessible to those that work. If you do manage to get there at lunchtime, the queue inside is always incredibly long, and the cash deposit functions on the cash machines are never working. Technically useless as a bank.

Oh i wish i could give 0 stars! This customer service is diabolical, I felt disgusted with this customer service whilst they were having a bloody chit chat with their workers. Worst branch ever barclays is so much better! DO NOT GO SANTANDER??

I did have a bit of a wait to be served, but I never expect a trip to the bank to be quick, so this didn't bother me in the slightest.
Once it was my turn to be served I received Excellent customer service with Jules, she was both polite and efficient; and made todays process very straightforward.

Poor opening hours

40 minute wait to pay cash into my daughter's account so she could pay for car. Manager refused saying my 17 year old daughter had to pay in herself. Like any responsible parent would risk daughter carrying £6k through the City Centre.A joke as I then went to post office and can pay in £2k a day over three days using her card without her present.Makes a mockery of their rules and system.Would be ashamed to call myself a manager of branch as you can't make decisions or manage at Santander.
