Very unorganised store with unhelpful staff. Their items on the shelf are priced wrong so when you get to the till it?s more than what you thought? which is false advertisement as the app says different too.

I witnessed two robberies at the store in the morning around 9 o'clock, Sunday, December 15. The first robbery was when a group of several people took away products, after 10 minutes a guy came in and took out the products despite the protest of the staff. Shocking. The guy at the counter explains that it's an everyday occurrence when I say that I don't see it even near Paris in my wife's zones. I traveled to the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, Durban, Cap in Africa and it was safer.
Where are the police, where is the store security? Total lawlessness.
This is the city center.

strangely unfriendly store.... staff feel need to shout at each other, while you're trying to shop... and you'll need to look closely for bargains: they rarely reduce anything worth buying. strange-smelling hand gel, too. awkward layout. on the main route home (for me), so they cant lose... tesco (new street birmingham) is a better store, with more reductions. never seen more than one person serving at the tills... (as pointed out by other reviewers) doesnt deserve a 3.7 rating. Edit: customer hand baskets are dirty. high prices for basic items. (eg; cheese, butter)

I must say I've always enjoyed shopping at this branch. The store is always clean well presented and the staff are so friendly.The absolute cherry on top was today when I left my phone behind. I've been told that the security found the phone and handed it to Roxy who kept it safe for me. My entire life is on this phone so I don't have the words to thank themThey are amazing and deserve more recognition than just my review.THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart

Ever since this place reopened after lockdown, it?s like everything went downhill. The sandwiches are raided after 12:30pm. Make sure you get there before that time and its frustrating because they don?t restock anything.

Quite possibly the worst Sainsbury?s I?ve ever been in. One member of staff on the tills during the lunch rush is common. But that member of staff is also responsible for the self checkout. So, if you?re buying anything that needs age verification (like an energy drink), you have to wait forever for that one staff member to finish serving the queue! Utter nonsense. The manager should be ashamed.
