By far one of the worst Sainsbury's within their portfolio.
In summary:
1. Toilets are rancid. The stench is horrific (tip: buy some clothes pegs for your nose before entering)
2. Hardly have baskets or trollies available for customers (bring a bag and if you're lucky, use a handheld scanner - see below)
3. Handheld scanners are rarely available (tip: go to the checkout, grab a scanner, pop it in the hole and release to use)
4. Be prepared for long waits at the self serve tills (note: will still be quicker than waiting for the one or two staffed checkouts)
5. Don't waste your breath asking the staff for anything, anything you do ask seems like a chore. Most are rude but not all (tip: only ask for help from the rare staff member that smiles)
6. Guys - don't bother looking at the clothes, they've got hardly any (tip: save your time and pop into Next instead)
7. The store is filthy and poorly maintained. They don't care about customers and only want to take your £££ (tip: shop at Marks & Spencers instead)
8. Make way for the Sainsbury's shoppers, they're on a time crunch picking their online orders (tip: call them out for being rude when they are rushing around and don't make way for you, their customer, as they have a more important online customer to serve!
Don't waste your money here. They don't value their custom. Customer service training is severely lacking, the manager spends half his time chatting and the other half stacking shelves. How can he have full oversight of the store if he's stacking shelves?!?

Good location in retail park. Plenty of parking spaces, but getting out in peak times can be a bit of a pain. The shop itself is light, spacious and a quite calm experience, even when busy in my experience. Usual prices for a Sainsbury's. Argos inside the store is a bonus.

I was just informed that the staff at a Sainsbury's store would not accept my Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) to purchase a bottle of wine as a birthday gift. I am 20 years old, and it is not my fault that the BRP has transitioned to a digital format. Naturally, I do not carry my international passport with me on a daily basis. I then visited a nearby store, where the staff at least acknowledged my expired BRP and requested the digital version, which they accepted without issue. The customer service representative at Sainsbury?s, however, was extremely rude and unhelpful, refusing even to consider looking at my BRP. This experience was incredibly frustrating and has greatly diminished my day.

I use this store as it has the widest range of goods. It's gone down hill massively. I think staffing has been cut and cleaning definitely has as the fridges are often filthy and smelly especially the fresh meat. A lot of the staff used to work at the old selly oak store I'd be interested to hear what they think because they get the grief off customers for a badly run and dirty store.

I don?t even want give any star, I bought the rice cooker a couple months ago, but it?s broken and I ask for refund, the two rude employees give shit and ignore me, and I feel be insulted, not coming back anymore
