They do vegan sausage rolls at lunchtime, sell vegan Mayo. Staff are quite helpful. Sometimes they simply dont sell things like cauliflower. But otherwise they do have a wide variety of things at good quality. The prices are decent, i like the new aldi incentive although fruit, sandwiches and meals are pricey like anything nowadays. Does get busy and is popular.

I ordered fresh items to be delivered so I could make a dish for visitors.
The mushrooms
Spring onion
Red pepper were all mouldy.
I spoken to the manager at the store. He apologised but it's not good enough. I had to go out and buy these items again at my petrol cost on top of delivery fee and service charge. I complained to the store manager he apologised and agreed that the sent items should not be on the shelves. Disgusting
Iv put much better in the bin.
These reviews seem to agree with my low opinion of the store. I will be writing to head office.

Possibly the worst Sainsbury's in the UK.
Horrible layout that seems to have no logic as to where anything is, aisles far too close to each other, cages of food everywhere making an already claustrophobic space even smaller, staff that only talk to each other over the headsets and ignore customers.
It is my local and I will go literally anywhere else than here

Ridiculous absolutely no pet supplies. Discriminatory to pets let alone service animals and the disabled.

Decent size local, has quite a lot of variations for meal deal.

Poor selection of goods - mainly snacks for students and those staying in cheap hotels. Untidy, busy, noisy and dirty shop. Unlike any other Sainsbury?s I?ve been to. Needs a good overhaul!

Come on!!! Baskets are so dirty, almost mouldy and sticky!!! Should I put my food inside of that and afterwards on my fridge?!?! Mad?!
Also, webs and dust on top of bakery products! And the shop stinks too! Come on guys!

Brought 3 jack Daniel's and they were all flat. It took 5 mins for staff to take the buzzers off them too

Decent selection of sandwiches and snacks if you are stocking up for the day and is easily accessible from lots of the major hotels. Open until 11pm if you need something late too. Loads of self service checkouts, which is lucky as the staff clearly don't want to engage with the public ... No eye contact, chatting on headsets, no interaction at all

Customer service doesn't exist... attitude lady behind tilt was shocking, looks like they doing favor by doing their jobs....im local customer and quality of service is just below minimum.
Its funny this store receiving only 1 start since long time, everyone is aware is indoor market had way higher quality but still same people there...Shame!!

Been going here a while because I work locally, if I want to buy anything with age verification I can't use the self check out as no one is available, security won't do it and the checkout staff even if free will ignore you. I go to the check out each time for energy drinks and get the rudest service from the same guy, Paul, absolutely blanks anything you have to say. Even just said hello when I went to the checkout, completely ignored, asked him to keep something separate the other day and again completely ignored. Just sick of it

Nice little shop where you can find almost all the food and hygiene supplies you need.

Sainsbury's Local at Brindleyplace is in a good location, it's opposite the tram stop and a short walk away from several hotels, including the Hilton Garden Inn, Novotel and Leonardo Royal, making it an ideal place to grab drinks and snacks to take back to your hotel. The overall look/feel of the store is similar to any Sainsbury's Local, it was easy to find what I was looking for. The shelves were reasonably well stocked, and a Costa Express coffee machine served hot drinks only.It was easy enough to get in and out of the store in a couple of minutes, using the Sainsbury's Smartshop app which allows you to scan items as you're walking around the store, and then you can pay via the app, scan the QR code in the exit area and head out.The prices are inflated because it is a convenience store, if you have more time you may want to head to the larger Morrisons in Edgbaston which is only a short ride away on the tram. The security guard at the front of the store came across as rude and felt like he was trying to intimidate customers and just made me feel uncomfortable when I was doing nothing wrong.3* - Pretty typical Sainsbury's Local, very useful location for a convenience store is the highlight to write home about.

Disappointed by the on-the-go vegan options, I couldn?t find a single option. But had a good range in the free-from section.
