Meat was salty, you only get 1 plate, they dont offer to take the used plate with bones. CHECK YOUR BILLS BEFORE PAYING!!! They add service charge on the bill then the card machine asks for more. The waitress held the bill almost hiding it and when I saw checked the machine it was asking for more tips!!!! We had to move closer to the kitchen as it is a huge restaurant and by the time the they had served 2-3 tables we had nothing left for us. Waiters/waitresses were lovely though. Sadly we wont go back. We love Rio in Chester. Best Brazilian so far and we?ve been twice.

Really nice place to go and eat. The meat is cooked beautifully. A couple of missing items for me from experiences at previous Brazilian restaurants like this; namely the pineapple with cinnamon and the feijoada. The guys with the meat kept missing our table early on as it wasn't in their eyeline as they walked from the BBQ. Easily fixed with a quiet word though. It's expensive and only done for celebrations for us. When you compare it to world buffet types of deals, you can understand why it's a bit more. The quality is better overall. If it was closer to the £30 mark, I would give 5 stars. £40 is a bit on the heavy side imo. Thank goodness for groupon. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. They made it a very enjoyable afternoon and overall, I would recommend to friends as a special treat.

Excellent service from Alina, however, I found some of the meats were overcooked and inedible. It was enjoyable and I will return.
What was worse was when the tables by us were cleaned any food on the table was just scraped onto the floor

The salad and side dishes had great variety, and the meats were served continuously ? paired with the canal view outside the window, it was simply perfect. The only downside was at payment: I didn?t notice the amount and paid straight away, but later at home I found I had been charged about £10.23 more than what was shown on the receipt. I?ve already emailed the restaurant and am waiting for their reply.

Friendly service and lots & lots of yummy food.
The salads/sides buffet was well stocked and varied and the meat just kept on coming!
Good puds too (if you have room for them!)

Worth the price for die-hard meat lover! The restaurant offers a variety of options, including steak, pork ribs, lamb, sausages, chicken wings and more. Some of these had a bloody taste that I don?t like but the amount of options they offer and the fact that this is an all you can eat buffet seems more important.
The waiter came around the table every 5 minutes with a new plate and were very generous.
In the self service station you can also find things like pasta and chicken bites.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Rodizio Rico Birmingham! From the moment we walked in, the staff were welcoming and attentive. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere had a great vibe ? perfect for a special night out or a group celebration.
The meat selection was incredible ? every cut was tender, juicy, and full of flavour. The staff came around regularly with a great variety, and everything was cooked perfectly. The picanha and lamb were especially outstanding!
The salad bar was fresh and full of delicious options ? not just salads but hot sides and Brazilian favourites too. There really was something for everyone.
It?s great value for the quality and amount of food you get. Will definitely be coming back again soon. Highly recommend to anyone who loves great food and great service!

Tonight was supposed to be a nice meal to celebrate my father's 85th birthday. Salad bar food was nice, but meats were poor quality and had to wait a long time for them to be brought out. Didn't see any steak the whole time we wrere there. Two of the guys serving the meats were rude and abrupt, the others were nice. Very underhanded way of hiding the service charge, confirming what we had ordered and then presenting me with the card machine without letting me see the bill until I asked twice. Really overpriced for the poor quality of meat.

Suathi was amazing! Super friendly, fun to talk to, and made our drinks perfectly. She really went out of her way to make sure we were looked after and having a great time. You can tell she loves what she does ? she honestly made our whole night at Rodizio Rico even better. Big thanks to her!

I first went to Rodizio Rico quite a few years ago back in the early days when it was quite new. I was a vegan then but went as my family member loves meat dishes and needed me to accompany them as they need support. I did not expect to eat much and they did not have much in the way of salad and vegetables in the early days, but they really stretched them selves to accomodate me. Obviously I did not plan to go back due to the fact that I was not a meat eater, but I was happy with their service.
Fast forward today. I am no longer vegan, more pescatarian, but really do not care about the labels, just putting it in context.
I decided to assist the family member again as they wanted to try it again. I also checked the menu online and it appeared that they had increased their menu, so I though at least I might get a bit more variety to eat. I was extremely surprised that they had a fantastic large salad bar with all kinds of delights there. It was a fusion of different barbequed, roasted vegetables, salads, side dishes . They also served lasagnes, pizza, and fried fish, bruchetta's, bread cheeses. This was all at the salad bar as well as the endless grilled meats, which they would bring to your table and would keep bringing unless you used a round thing at the table what looked like a coaster mat, which had red on one side and green on the other. If you turned it over to green it meant keep serving the meat, if you turned it to red they would stop filling the plate. My family member found it quite funny.
. They also served an array of Cocktails, softdrinks and deserts.
The atmosphere and music was lively, though we were able to relax by the window. We could look out to the canal wharf whilst we ate, drank and took in the ambience.
It was a lovely experience for us. The only slight negative is sometimes it was hard to get the attention of staff as they seemed rushed off their feet, though to be fair it did get quite busy as the time went by. We would happily visit it again soon.
