Honestly the worst GYM I?ve ever been rude stuff talking to the members of gym like gangsters acting like have power over everything, toilets absolutely disgusting showers are completely horrible never saw a cleaner around !!! Shame on the management that allows all this to happen my side never be back here

First time visiting any pure gyms and was pleasantly surprised with the experience. Equipment felt brand new and availability was good. Was very happy with the level of cleanliness as well. A little cramped compared to my normal gym (gym group) but still a very good experience

It's a joke now and again, I forgave the several weeks to refit as I understand but twice now shut no warning and this morning a deep clean found out while ringing the out-of-hours number

Full of underage kids that come to this gym to socialise. They take the mick out of people working out recording them and also in the changing rooms full of youngsters just socialising which makes using the showers or changing rooms very uncomfortable. This is normally between 3:30 till 6pm.

No problems with the Gym and the location however what is going on with the parking charges even though putting your registration in and still receiving them. Is there a problem with the machine that it doesn't register your details before 6 am

This PureGym branch is a serious letdown. Yes, the location is convenient and there?s plenty of parking?but that?s where the positives end.
The equipment is outdated, tired, and in some cases downright dangerous. Several machines, especially leg equipment, are damaged and falling apart. It?s only a matter of time before someone gets injured. Longstanding issues like roof leaks and faulty kit have been raised repeatedly by members, but nothing ever gets fixed.
The parking situation is now a complete mess?members are being fined for staying over 2 hours or for using the car park outside of Sainsbury?s trading hours, even when within the time limit. It?s confusing and totally avoidable, but again, no action taken.
What makes it worse is the clear lack of care from management. Negative reviews are met with the same copy-and-paste responses, and there?s zero accountability. PureGym is usually consistent across its sites, but this branch is so far below standard it?s actively damaging the brand. It desperately needs proper investment, maintenance, and management that actually listens.

Over recent visits, I have noticed a consistent lack of cleanliness in the changing rooms. The floors are often dirty, the lockers appear unclean, and there is a persistent unpleasant odor that suggests they are not being properly maintained. Additionally, the shower areas do not appear to be cleaned regularly, creating a very uncomfortable and unhygienic environment for members.
Equally troubling is the condition of the bins throughout the gym. They are frequently overflowing and emitting a foul smell, which not only affects the overall atmosphere but poses potential health concerns. In some cases, waste is left around the bins instead of being disposed of properly.
As a paying member, I believe it is reasonable to expect a clean and sanitary environment, especially in areas where hygiene is most critical. I kindly urge you to take immediate action to address these issues by implementing more frequent and thorough cleaning protocols and ensuring staff are trained to maintain basic cleanliness standards.
