I was in the first isle of Poundland on 5th Feb about 1 ish looking for a certain item. They didn't have it. I didn't touch a thing. On my way out I picked up 1 item and paid for it. Imagine my shock when I was accused of shoplifting and had my bag searched. Been going to the Retail Park since it opened from day one. I'm not a happy customer. Poundland you need to retrain your staff. It's not as if I was looking over my shoulder or from left to right to arouse suspicion. I just pop in and out on my way from work. ??

Today, May 24, 2024, I went into the store as usual, as I have lived here in Birmingham for 5 years. Well, since I was with my daughter in a stroller, I went in, got the shopping basket and went out to look for my merchandise. At a certain point, the store security guard started following me as if I was going to steal something. So I continued to get the merchandise and went to pay for my purchases at the cashier with my Barckeys card. I left and the security guard ran towards the exit to see if I had stolen anything. Anyway, I am very disappointed with the conduct of the store employee.

Staff are too busy gossiping at the till with other members and dont focus during their job , they don?t even look at you at the till, theres no communication with customers
