Earlier today I purchased a Roblox gift card instore for my daughter. We returned home and the gift card code was invalid. I attempted to call the store 6 times, but there was no answer. We had to return to the store as Roblox told us to return the gift card to the retailer.
Whilst in store I asked for help from a member of staff called Jack who seemed to find my distress extremely funny, as did the young woman working on the check out next to us.
We eventually spoke to Lee the store manager who went above and beyond to try and rectify the issue. He was very sympathetic and spent a lengthy amount of time trying to get hold of head office, and gave us the information we needed to send via email for head office to make a decision on whether we would be eligible for a refund or not. We have to wait 4 days for someone to get back to us. So presently I'm out of pocket for a defunct gift card plus the money I've spent on transport returning to the store.
If it hadn't been for Lee, the attitudes of Jack and his "friend" who continued to ridicule me via their headsets whilst in ear shot, I would have found this whole experience humiliating to say the least.

This shop is inside chelmsley wood shopping centre with Pepco in the back. Great prices. Mostly self check out sometimes they operate one till but there is always someone to help you.

Lots on sale. Lots of room inside. Not many staff. No self checkouts. Not busy so in and out. Parking is pay on car park.
