Both ladies working at this post office are extremely rude and seem to have ego issues or even mental health problems. Unfortunately, this is my local post office and over time I have seen them belittle customers with passive aggression, condescend to the elderly and pick fights with locals, and are more interested in this than proudly providing services that people's livelihoods depend on. After avoiding writing a review for so long, it is now with regret that I feel I have to inform the community about their behaviour as nothing seems to change. Please avoid especially if you are a vulnerable person as the discourse is toxic and unstable. Hopefully they can seek some professional help with their low self esteem before they do more damage to people's lives. If Royal Mail sees this, many of us in the locality are boycotting this post office due to your workers. I anticipate a passive aggressive response similar to those left on their other bad reviews.

Great service. Lady on the shop counter helped my friend bubble wrap a parcel and complete the paperwork for postage abroad. Very kind and helpful - thank you.

Very rude owner , unhelpful, kept my amazon parcel which I get delivered just 4 days ago. Lady denied to give to me. The parcel was sitting in the shop in front of me and she said she is returning it back. Very very unprofessional attitude . Avoid this shop, dont get parcels delivered here. Very bad experience.

Some of the members of staff are very rude . You can ask a question and sometimes she?s on her phone whilst people wait . There is a tallLady at this post office and she is very polite

I have just visited this post office on my break. And a elderly customer had walked into the post office and approached one of the staff and asked if this is the post office. The lady on the counter on the right side/ (quiet built) had responded 'go outside and check for yourself' in such a sarcastic approach. This customer was an elderly customer and who knows if she had underlying health conditions such as dementia or a disability. I honestly felt so upset and bad for this customer as I am a nurse and needed to escalate this concern. This behaviour in my practice would not be acceptable. I have just read the other reviews and some are similar and about the same staff. Hope this review gets to the appropriate organisation.

I'm using this post office for quite some time and never had any problems or issues with the staff. The staff is very friendly and helpful, couple of times there were issues regarding the service I required but the staff resolved them promptly. As my local business I always support them and appreciate the service they provide. Even during the pandemic the staff at the post office trying their level best to help their customers, keep up the good work??

On the 21st of May 2021, during the afternoon time, I went and visited my local post office to give in some evidence for my DBS check. The lady at the counter who I assume is the manager had dealt with me in an unprofessional manner. I had two birth certificates with me to hand in. The lady had asked me which one I had put on the system. I responded you can use either as both certificates have the same registration date, and thats what I initially put on to the system (before i could finish she kept interfering) She responded and said the recent birth certificate had a different date (this was because one of them was given to me recently, and that date that it was sent to me was stated on the letter too). I tried telling her the system asked me for the registration date of the birth certificate (before I could finish with what I was trying to tell her, she kept interrupting me and was not allowing me to finish what I was trying to tell her), at the point she checked both certificates and noticed the registration dates do match and continued with the process of the documents. I told her, you are not allowing me to speak as you keep interrupting with what I need to say. I then continued to tell her, the system specifically asked for the date of registration in which it is stated on both birth certificates. Once i finished explaining this, she went quiet and stared deadly at my face (for a good 5 seconds), i responded back and said 'so'? she responded well I'm waiting for you to finish (when I was already done speaking) whilst giving me a sarcastic look and response. (please check the cameras and if your camera's record sound, please listen to the sound too). Never in my life have I ever felt so uncomfortable or intimated at a professional environment. Considering this is my local post office, this was not the first time she has come across rude to me. The difference was, she said after all that, she does not want to serve me. I responded, 'could I ask whats the reason'. Her response was, 'because I do not want to serve you, got to another branch.' Before I left the premises I said to her thats fine, I'll be getting in touch with Union regarding this and left. I could not even get past the door, she insulted me and was telling the other customer who was there about this and her other colleague at the other side of post office. (please check the camera sound system). I am so upset on how this has made me feel. I suffer from anxiety and depression and this has made me feel 100 times worse. Nor did I raise or shout or give any abuse to this lady. I am a mother of two young toddlers, a nursing student and a housewife.Anyways, I went to the Bordesley Green branch, and gave in my documents, the gentlemen at the counter had no issues with submitting my documents. I spoke to the gentleman about my experience at the handsworth College Road branch. He said, there are no issues with your birth certificates from what he processed and he explained how the system asked for the issue date in which both certificates had the same issue date. The gentleman had said the staff should not have acted the way she did and had guided me on how to complain.I am really upset because of this, it has internally impacted on the way i was treated. I want something to be done about this lady as this is not the first time she has come across rude to me. This was the final straw for me to the way she behaved. hence why I have put in a complaint. I will be getting union involved if this is not resolved. As a customer I have a right to feel comfortable and use services without feeling intimidated by staff.

Very disappointed with both the ladies in this post office, their behaviour is very rude and unprofessional. They charge customers extra money which isn't same as royal mail prices. Everytime I used this post office both these ladies charged me extra money for no reason, when I showed them the royal mail actual price, they ignore it and don't answer and refused to give my money back. I think they collect some tip for the work, they should just be fired! I don't underatand how they're still allowed to work there when they are very dishonest and rude to customers.

Staff are extremely rude. Poor service, which when criticised the staff will personally or racially attack the customer and raise their voice. Very defensive attitude to their bad service. They have a stinginess for tape so if you're posting something take plenty of tape with you or they will try to make you buy a new roll for a single use. The post office does not provide receipts and tries to quickly push you aside to serve other customers.
