Absolutely shameful service. The gentleman named Harjot was on his phone at the till and didn't engage with me at all. He seemed completely preoccupied, scanning my items while laughing at something on his phone. Once finished, he briefly asked if I was paying by cash or card, then immediately went back to his phone. It felt incredibly unprofessional, and the lack of attention was disappointing. I only completed my purchase because I needed the items, but the experience was far below acceptable standards.

Helpful knowledgeable staff.
I went in there this week, and one of the staff went out of their way to help me with a question I had! I come out satisfied and definitely would recommend this shop to friends and family.
We also use the vets here and have always been happy with the service. We always manage to get what we went in for, and more, especially when we take Stan the cockerpoo with us, hahah

Wouldn't recommend for anyone seeking advice about animal care.
Went with a friend and asked for some advice. Was told to wait in a specific section and that someone would come see us but no one came (waited 20 mins). Was a Saturday and only seemed to be one person acting as front of house.
Also witnessed an unsettling experience between a manager and a customer. Manager was defensive and argumentative from the get go and refused service to the man but failed to explain why when asked. This escalated the situation and, after the customer asked whether they wouldn't let him buy a fish because he's black the manager responded something along the lines of "why do you people always say that" in a loud and agitated tone. We witnessed the entire encounter and, though we didn't have the full information, completely failed to understand why this man was refused service. If a manager can't de-escalate a situation and is being asked if they're a racist, something is going very wrong.
