I registered my kitten here over a month ago and I needed and emergency appointment on 22/7/25 as my kitten was ill all night I went in to get her a same day emergency appointment the horrible miserable lady at the desk told me their was no appointments available today and said I can get you in on Thu but you need to pay £57.00 consultation charge today to book the appointment I was mortified as it was clear they was only interested in the money and not the health of my kitten.I actually felt like crying! This is not the kind of service I expect from pets 4 vets! You need to actually get some decent staff at your reception who actually care about pets and not just about their wage you need friendly approachable receptionists as this lady looked so unhappy and miserable I would never use your store again as I went to another vet straight after who got my kitten in same day and the staff was amazing.

Took my rabbit here, died from being scared of the vets as they tried giving her oxygen due to peculiar breathing, and lost my princess. rip hate this place, aren't gentle at all and don't give a care in the world about our little babies. I understand rabbits are fragile prey animals but come on now. 6 years gone

Nice, clean and tidy pets at home store. Popped in for some pebbles for my boyfriends fish bowl and the signs in the store helped guided me to them. Staff polite and friendly. Pleasant customer service.

Had a great experience at Pets at Home in Stechford. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a good selection of fish at very reasonable prices. All the tanks looked clean and the fish seemed healthy and well cared for. Definitely a reliable spot for aquarium lovers!

Best place to shop at when in need of pet supplies. All the staff are lovely and always willing to help. Never had an issue with any staff members being in a bad mood or rude.
The shop offers plenty of supplies for all kinds of animals, including cats, dogs, small critters like hamsters, and fish. Anything from basics like treats, food, kennels, pet beds and toys, collars and leads, all the way to more medicinal items like calming spots/sprays/tablets, flea/tick/deworming, grooming products and more.
All the staff are knowledgeable and always willing to help.
10/10 would recommend!

Felt a small store, a bit cramped with a limited selection of dog treats. But after going around the store a few times I found what I was looking for. The store assistant did ask if I was looking for something, but I had found it by that point.

I would never buy cat food from here ever again. Be careful when buying cat food from here. Products like royal canine and lily?s kitchen say they are pure chicken, when you read the labels the products are stuffed with pork.
I?m fuming.
If you want decent cat food. Go to pet villa in china town.
Stay well clear.
