Everything is a bit expensive but you pay for the convenience - great to have this shop on the green.Some nice friendly staff and one not so friendly! They have been pretty rude on several occasions and are probably only happy if there were no customers at all interrupting their day!

I agree with the comments below. Miserable staff, miserable atmosphere, painfully slow service, & no receipt for goods offered, until requested ....& rip-off price for carrier of 35p. (Any chance this truly does go to a charity? I doubt that very much!). Do not shop here unless you absolutely need to. I am happy to support my local shops in principle, but not when you are served by miserable and ignorant shop assistants.

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff member. I observed this lady regularly barking at poor little kids (including autistic child!) while they were trying to buy sweets. I just always tried to stay away and run as soon as my kids finish with shopping. This morning I was verbally abused by the same staff member while I was trying to pick up my parcel. Her behavior ( I heard words like ? get lost!?) extremely upset me and I left shop with shaking hands.This staff member must be replaced as soon as possible because no one deserves to be treated this way, it is just simply unacceptable.

Hardly ever open and never seem to be looking for staff. 1 or 2 friendly staff but mostly the staff seem like they don't want to be there but with some of the customers attitudes when I've been in, I can't say I completely blame them!Would be really helpful if they could sell bread too!

Really unfriendly staff member in there. Never acknowledges my greeting, stares daggers at me, no common courtesy at the till. I presumed bigotry because she says hello to other people. Judging by other reviews though, she's horrible to many people.To people with certain mental health problems, her conduct is EXTREMELY provocative. Management, you've seen the reviews - I know you have staffing problems but please get her trained or replace her.

Really don?t understand the negative reviews. Having this store in Bournville Village is essential. Never noticed the bad smell so many people seem to complain about and have never had a problem returning parcels?.

Constantly tell me their internet is down so they cannot process parcels. Absolutely rubbish, they just don?t want the hassle. Don?t be a service point if u don?t want the work.

There is a very rude woman working on the till she has banned multiple of my friends from the shop for unjustified or stupid reasons and she has kicked me out various times when all I was doing was looking at what I wanted she has also threatened multiple of my classmates and has refused to serve one of my friends for no reason she is very aggressive and has made me and others very uncomfortable and scared on her side some children were being rude and disrespectful but me and the majority of my classmates weren?t doing anything. She is a small black haired woman and she has glasses if you can do anything to sort out his problem please do and if you ever see her in the shop make sure to be careful. Martins on its own is a good shop its just been let down by that one lady .

Never open. Simply not good enough when I need my weekly crème eggs. The nearest shop is Tesco 20 miles down the road so sometimes I get home in an empty stomach.???

Has an unusual smell when you walk in almost like cat urine. Also would be helpful if they sold things like sandwiches

Walked into shop today and a dreadful smell all through the place. Apparently due to air conditioning. This is very un healthy and not fair for the staff to work in it. Also they sell food, how is that health ans safety. Either needs fixing or closing down
