I had a great experience with Mail box etc. Pin fold street Birmingham. The Layila and David really helped me with my heavy luggages with out any complaints. All my luggage (8 boxes) were safely arrived at my home in Sri lanka. All the luggages were as I was packed. No damages at all. I am really thankfull for them. I used the FedEx services. I opened a mailbox here in 2019 and it's been great and problem-free, so I've renewed it annually every year since, as well as using some of the other services. Aliyaah is usually the person doing everything behind the counter. Even when it is busy (sometimes with customers who have complex parcel or postage issues), and my queries either in person or through email have sometimes been complicated, she has always been helpful, realistic and friendly. Today, despite (again) being busy, I got the very short-notice and urgent printouts I needed in time - thank you.One other point is that, while most of the other customers I've encountered there are reasonable, a thankfully very small but loud (and rude) demographic have unrealistic expectations; for example, expecting immediate service and answers, even when there are others waiting to be served, plus enquiries coming in via phone and email. These people need to reign in their egos and learn some manners; no need for rudeness to the staff just because you've had to wait a few minutes (and note that the Post Office opposite usually has much longer wait times). Be civilised.

Truly, it's much more expensive than the other courier! I sent a 1kg 17x17x6cm parcel to Swindon today, they charged me £17. It is just a standard delivery without insurance. I am a new immigrant to the UK and know nothing about the courier price. I compared the price of different couriers over the Internet and realised that I had made a BAD BAD BAD decision. I won't use their service anymore.

I don?t normally leave a negative review but I have to say my encounter with the unpleasant woman who works here left me very upset and after reading the other reviews I can definitely corroborate the negative experiences with the South Asian lady who works here. Not sure why she?s so angry or rude.

I got the company to deliver 5 expensive posters for me from a saleroom auction house - asked them specially not to use tape on the glass that would be hard to get off. They all turned up with EBAY plastic tape all over the glass which left an impossible residue to remove - I now have to replace the glass - they said I had to pay for 180 pound delivery back to them and for me to pay the return as well!! I have left voicemails and they have promised to mail me back but - despite numerous messages I have had no response - I will never be using them again and suggest you don't either - awful service - checking my consumer law coverage now

OMG, I just got 9 boxes with expensive Chinese vases and other bits and was so impressed with the way each one had been secured and packaged. I was concerned at first because they were valuable as well as two gold coins. But blown away when I got them and saw the care they had given each package. Defiantly trust these guys for a great service.

Avoid!Very unprofessional , poor customer service and lack of communication.Closed my account with them now.Won?t even to respond to my complaint which I logged on 9th Sept 2022 and chased 3 times.I have been using mailboxes for 5 years and been paying full in advance for a virtual address and what I thought was mail forwarding.First 4 years fine , getting mail forwarded, but apparently the last year my account was in ?arrears?, which no one told me, yet I got an email reminding me my account was due for renewal!Because ?my account was in arrears? they didn?t forward important company docs, causing major inconvenience and stress impacting me and my suppliers.Won?t be using again.

Don't go near MBE Birmingham, as they don't even deserve the one star you have to give someone so that your review gets posted!I emailed them asking for a quote to collect, pack and deliver a clock to me (from Birmingham to Wiltshire). They didn't reply within two days, so I called them. A young lady assured me they had received my email and would get their person who does the quotes to quote me straight away (apparently this person works remotely). I heard nothing, so I emailed them again. Yes, you've guessed it - still no reply. I called them once again and this time, they said they hadn't received my second email, but they would "get on to my first email anyway". I waited three days, but heard nothing. So I went and collected the clock myself.Other MBE outlets throughout the country have always provided me with good service, but this Birmingham office should be replaced with someone who uinderstands what business is all about. I would never go near MBE Birmingham again.

Feel like I can empathise with the other reviews describing rude treatment from the woman who appears senior. First attempt to enter foiled by a closed door and a "back in 2 minutes" sign. My experience when I got to enter was being ignored by both women for 5 minutes while they did something else together on a computer. She eventually came to the gap in the shutters when a guy arrived behind me. It seemed like asking to send a return with UPS was just the worst infringement of her human rights. She thought the customs form looked wrong, wanted me to add lots of details to it, then said I needed 2 copies and it would be £1. A that stage I left and worked further to a convenience store that also does UPS. They were busy but much friendlier, accepted the package with no hassle and I had my refund from France a couple of days after. Mail Boxes Etc are much closer but I'd prefer to walk a longer distance to avoid being treated like I'm dirt.
