“We were served in the restaurant by Gaurav.
I am gluten intolerant and he was reassuringly knowledgeable about what I can eat. The food was tasty and I'd happily eat here again.
The room clean and had everything we need

“Fantastic hotel with great staff and good food which doesn’t cost the earth. I have been using the hotel regularly to go and watch Aston Villa and the experience has always been excellent. Made great by the front of house staff - especially Monica on the bar. The rooms are clean too and the breakfast is very good. The bar area is also nice and has all the main sports channels. A couple of issues which require addressing to take it to 5 star. The lift has been broken for as long as I have been staying and the car park was previously free for guests but now there is a fee, which isn’t great. Other than that top place to stay and I’d highly recommend.”

“I stayed in room 1606 of the 16th floorI have such mixed feelings about this placeGood parts:1) easy to find and get the key for it2) great location3) seeying the sunrise from here and the look over the city at night are just amazing4) bed is really comfortable5) there is a hair dryer and an iron6) it's well soundproofed from neighbours7) The heating system works and it doesn't take that long to heat the roomBad parts:1) It's quite dirty - the room, the windows ..the shower is worn out2) there could be more pans and things in the kitchen for longer stays3) it's not soundproof from corridor side4) the room was quite smelly when I got there and the bathroom has no ventilation and it smells when it gets wet5) they store under the bed some used(?) towels and bedsheetsOverall I am not sorry I stayed here - it's ok for 1 or 2 nights.”

“The parking to the plaza is private so you have to pay their charges, not regulated by Travelodge and no discount for guests either. It was £12 for 24 hours. There’s a lift that goes up to the plaza and then take a separate lift up to the Travelodge (that lift STANK, like unbearably! Mentioned it to the staff but nothing was done for the one night that we stayed there at least).The space was nest and clean, rooms were good. Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating.It’s a 20min walk from the Mailbox so great location.Nearby activities: It’s literally inside the broadway plaza that has activities like hollywood bowl, odeon cinema and food places as well.”

“Really good place this. Cheap as chips for a breakfast the beer is well priced too compared to most places.The tables we tended to sit are were usually sticky in places and the menus were sticky too. But other than that the food quality etc was great for what you pay!”

“The room had quite bad moisture/mould issues but aside from that was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming and location is great - multi-storey carpark nearby is sensibly priced, trams to city centre stop practically outside, not unreasonable walk to catch a train to Cadbury world (although that was a disappointment) and decent deliveroo options. Not bad for the price”

“Ideal location, travelodge is always good for getting your head down for a good price. This one is a little outdated. But it does for a night. Staff on reception friendly. Only downside I would say was no extra toilet roll, and a q-tip on the floor under the bed.”

“Fortunate to stay in a large family room. Clean, spacious, staff really friendly and helpful throughout. Can't fault for the price. Great on-site breakfast room also offering pizzas the rest of the time. Convenient location with free car park and main bus routes stopping right outside. Directly opposite a massive Sainsbury's.”

“Very helpful Letting Agent. Saw a lovely property, which the Agent helped us secure. Treated us and the landlady fairly to agree the best deal that would meet each of our requirements. Also manages our property, and has been helpful in sorting out any maintenance issues to enable us to live in a nice environment. A letting agent that actually cares about their customers!
